---------------WELCOME TO MY YEAR END CHARTS OF 2011---------------

I will recap this year's biggest hit songs, albums, and artists on my chart. First I will recap the top songs, followed by albums, and lastly name the new artist of the year and artist of the year.

Here's how I do my thang:

The songs get points by their placement on the week charts. (#1 gets 10 pts, #2 gets 9 pts, #3 gets 8 pts. etc. and #10 gets 1 pt,) The albums are based on their sales to date.

 In order of most successfulness. If songs have same # of points, placement will be affected by peak. If 2 songs have the same amount of points and same peak, the higher one will be the one still charting. If they are both not charted, whoever had the most weeks, or better chart run.

For the albums, which ever has more sales beats the other. Common sense haha.

For the artists, I not only tally up their album sales and number of hits, but I also look at how much I liked their music, critically speaking, and how good their year was, and my hype.

Peak: 10
Even after many years of being released, this song still managed to chart for one week at number ten. This is the only song by Shania Twain to chart this year and the first song to leave. You must be living under a rock if haven't heard this song at least once.

Reba's lead single from her latest album managed to debut at number ten on my first chart ever. It never returned. This catchy tune is the only song by Reba on this countdown.

Yes this song looks freaky but I love it even though it's way out my comfort zone. It managed to chart for one week at number 10. It's the only song my this metal group in this countdown.

Another song that was short lived in my chart. Also another song that I guess many didn't think I liked but I do, it's nice but was kinda overplayed everywhere and this is one of those songs I can't take if it's overplayed. This is the only song from Diddy-Dirty Money in this countdown.

65. Quadratic Formula | My Math Teachers

Peak: 8
This song was made by my math teachers and when they played it I was hooked! It may be silly but it sure is catchy (and useful)! Click the image to play (if you have trouble ask me). This is the only "silly" song, I swear.

Peak: 8
This catchy song by Mexican superstar, Anahi, found it's way to my chart. It became the only non-English track to do so, so props to her! It only stayed for one week, but at least it charted. (I made the cover art for this one by the way.)

63. Dog Days Are Over | Florence + The Machine

Peak: 9
The second single from their debut, Lungs, was a worldwide hit. This epic tune also managed to chart on my chart. It stayed there for two weeks (back when I wasn't really into indie music) so that's impressive! Sadly this is the only song from Florence + The Machine, but expect a lot from them this year.

Peak: 9
This rap/pop song entered my chart for two weeks. It seemed to have a promising start but I quickly lost interest, but nevertheless it is still an amazing song.

This song became Taylor's huge breakthrough hit back in 2008 (2009 in pop) and is now a modern classic. This country pop tune managed one week on my first chart before it fell out. No worries, this isn't the last you'll see of Swift!

One of many P!NK's smashes, Raise Your Glass, managed to creep in for one week on my first chart. It fell out and was never seen again. This is also the last you'll see of P!NK on this countdown.
