We're on to the top 50 of UKMix's biggest ever contest! Things are getting HOT! Its a fantastic achievement to go top 10, its an amazing achievement - but all of the divas [and their beloved fans] want to win this sh!t! With that being said, I present to you the chart predictor! The gist is simple - the more accurate your predictions, the better chance you have of winning. Here are the rules:
1) Formulate an ORDERED list of how you predict the top 10 list will look [1 being the winner, 2 being the runner up and so forth]. You MUST only formulate a top 10 - no more & no less.
2) One act scored over 3,000 points to win - those that accurately predict that megastar will automatically be awarded a bonus 50 points. If you accurately predict the top 10 in rank order, you'll automatically be awarded 100 bonus points. If you predict the top 10 but in the incorrect order, you'll receive 75 bonus points
3) You will only receive points for guessing with 100% accuracy [unless otherwise stated - i.e. in some of the bonus point schemes] - if you think Katy Perry will win, will be #1 and she does end up winning the contest, you'll receive 10 points [as its a top 10 we're predicting]; if however, you predict she's #6 and she's actually #7, you'll get nothing! To confirm:
#1 = 10 points
#2 = 9 points
#3 = 8 points
& so on...

IT'S TIME...TO EMBRACE...THE DIVAS!
This - the third installment of the countdown - is the biggest contest in UKMix history. And by large margin too. Such is the popularity of the big divas around here, that the turnout for the contest represented a 177% increase in voters, over the male contest equivalent!
In all, 108 voters cast their votes, for a sensational 594 separate female acts [full voting list can be found HERE]. We've got acts from Germany, the USA, Japan, China, Russia, the UK, Canada, France, Italy, South Africa, & more. The 594 acts in total scored over 124,000 points!
Bit of a random, useless statistic there.Now, given the Mayan prophecy, I think its best we start this bitch sooner, rather than later...
Here's how the countdown will run - you'll get your first 50 missed all in one batch [like last year's host Jim did] - then you'll get your missed and main presented together, like in the males countdown - this is "officially" a top 250 countdown. However, I will present in batches anyone that falls outside of the top 250. Might I say that if you sent any votes for Sade, or Goldfrapp, or Heart - in fact, any band or group that had even remotely a male involved - your vote for that act was excluded [this point was made quite clearly at the beginning though, so this shouldn't be news to anyone].

Some BIG names missed out on a top 200 placing - in actual fact, poor FreakyFlyBry said goodbye to his #1 act there! You'll also notice that we've lost four of the five Spice Girls already, only one Spice Girl remains - she has managed a top 100 placing. Poor Shorty and britneyfan09 have taken a hit here too - Shorty actually loses three of her top 15, britneyfan09 loses two. And - as might be expected due to a famously non-mainstream taste in music - crazycrazy loses three of his top 15!
The tie-breaker in the top 100 is the number of different voters the acts concerned received. The tie-breaker for the top 200 is the number of years active, the acts concerned spent.
