Nobody's Perfect is an amazing song, my favorite from Jessie. :D
ETIAF on the other hand is one of Coldplay's worst, Paradise is far more superior to it ;)

I have to disagree man, the Britney version of 'S&M' is dire. You saying she sounds sexy reminds me of that episode of Friends where Phoebe gets sick and wants to keep her sick voice for singing

'Invincible' is a great track too, quite underrated.

I had never looked at the Pumped Up Kicks lyrics either! it's so funny how for some songs it's so important (see: Someone Like You) and in that track I never bothered as I just like the groove! Harsh lyrics

Born This Way, S&M, Super Bass and Invincible are all decent - there's nothing I don't like but they don't excite me AS much, surprised to see Tinie this high as I know you're not especially a Kelly fan.

Judas, Dance With Me Tonight and On The Floor are great. I agree with you on all three write ups - that Judas was horrid at first, that the 'My Name Is Olly' line is cute, and that J.Lo is still a world great entertainer.

Nobody's Perfect is great, but not as great as her three defining singles for me, this falls into 'the middle' with Who's Laughing for me.

My favourites are definitely The Saturdays, Emeli and Coldplay! What you say about Coldplay is so true. See it live and you'll get it fully!

010. Jessie J - Nobody's Perfect

This track is really amazing, but sooo underrated. Great lyrics, epic video, I can't understand why it underperformed almost everywhere ... :-?

008. Ed Sheeran - The A Team
One of the biggest newcomers of the year with one of the biggest selling singles of the year. 2011 was a great year for Ed Sheeran.
When I first heard it, I thought 'this is decent' but the more I heard it the more I started to love this. It's such a beautiful and emotional song. The lyrics are very pure, honest and completely different than anything else in the charts these days.
The video is among the best videos of the year for me, very impressive since it's also one of the cheapest videos of the year. Shows some other artists that you don't have to throw in thousands of euros/dollars/pounds into a video to make a good one.

007. Rihanna featuring Calvin Harris - We Found Love
Last year Rihanna set a record with 6 entries in my chart, this year she has one more with We Found Love being her 7th(!) entry and also her highest one.
Collaborating with British DJ Calvin Harris, this was the first single of her latest album 'Talk That Talk' and was a massive hit single for both of them.
The opening lines are just epic and the chorus is absolutely massive. The lyrics are simple but work and Calvin did a brilliant job with the procution. Rihanna herself also sounds fantastic on this and it's just the perfect club song.
It's also a song you can listen to over and over again without getting tired of it.
There has been said a lot about the music video, but I have always loved it. It tells a story and I think her team did a fantastic job with it.

006. Adele - Set Fire To The Rain
2011 has been a very strong music year for me, Set Fire To The Rain could have easily made #1 in another year yet it's only at #6. Shows how much I love the 5 songs I charted higher.
But back to this song, another massive hit for Adele even though we still haven't seen a music video for this. But that's Adele, she doesn't need a video to score a hit.
One of the stand out tracks on the album, Set Fire To The Rain shows another and more up tempo side of Adele. It's just a perfect song, her voice sounds sensational on it and the lyrics are so powerful. I adore the 'You and me together, nothing is better' line, I don't even know why but it's such a special part of the song for me.

You know my heart skips, skips a beat

005. Olly Murs featuring Rizzle Kicks - Hearts Skips A Beat

And we start the top 5 with Olly Murs. As you may know, I quite like the Murs so it shouldn't come as a surprise to see him charting with another song.
I first heard this when Chris Moyles premiered it in the beginning of July and I immediately fell in love with it. It still had the Olly style of his debut album, but at the same time it was something different for him aswell. I know that doesn't make sense, but I hope you get what I mean
It's just so catchy and summery and the Rizzle Kicks guys add something extra to the song. Love the 'I shoulda just taken her to the cinema to see Saw' part.
The video is so good aswell, suits the song perfectly aswell. Love the dance moves during the live performances, especially the 'Nothing really matters when we’re dancing' part. He is just such a brilliant performer.

Great stuff in your top 10 here.

I knew Olly would be high, but I think he deserves it because this song is the best he has done yet! Rizzle Kicks were the perfect act to duet with.

Adele & Ed Sheeran are also great. Rihanna song is amazing, with the best video of the year too!

No. 7 is a BIT low for "We Found Love", but it's still very nice to see it make your Top 10 ;) definitely one of my favorite Rihanna singles and one of my favorite songs of 2011. I totally agree about not getting tired of it, it's still in the Top 5 of my weekly chart (although it has been bouncing around a bit).

nothing against you or your chart, but I'm definitely starting to get a bit sick of seeing Adele's name everywhere  she's got a powerful voice, no doubt, but I just...don't get the hype around her material

You need to update the title, pal!

Great stuff here, all of them! All in my top 75 at least. Rihanna and Calvin is probably my least favourite though I hated it to start with and do love it now, it's a great club song as you say.

Olly - I know exactly what you mean even though you think you didn't convey it, great song and I LOVE him in the video!

Ed - so great to see you chart it high! Significantly higher than me even. It's a classic really isn't it!

And yay, we share a song in our top 10! God bless Adele!
