Whitney Houston manages a respectable #1 debut with her number-one US hit, "Exhale (Shoop Shoop)", while last week's number-one drops to number-eleven. The whole top 5 from last week experiences a huge change as the Vocal Trinity manages one song each in that tier. The Princes of Pop manages a #3 ranking with "Till The World Ends" as it was my anthem of the new year. All of the Christmas songs have dropped off now, and many others have re-entered due to me playing the songs that charted on my 2011 year-end countdown. Mariah Carey has the honour of being the most-played artist this week, with all her entries totalling up to over 100 plays. She also is the artist with the most entries in this week's top 30.

The top ten experiences a revamp, as 6 songs drop out. One Direction's debut single, "What Makes You Beautiful" climbs from 14-1, becoming their first single to hit the top of my chart. It received almost twice as much plays as the runner-up. ''Domino'' becomes Jessie's highest debut on my chart so far at #2, with "Price Tag" being her only #1 hit so far. Can "Domino" hit #1 next week? Last week's #2 drops to #3, despite it being the song with the most plays in the first two days of the week. Jason Mraz's latest single from his upcoming album ranks at #4. "I Won't Give Up" is Mraz's highest-peaking single on my chart after "I'm Yours". Celine Dion rounds the top 5 with "To Love You More". It is expected to rise up the chart in the following week. This week's chart sees eleven new or re-entries (both denoted by an "N".) Celine Dion is the most-played artist of the week; with three entries in the top 10 and four in total.

Six new entries in the top ten, but the number-one remains the same with more than twice the plays of the number-two song. It looks very likely that "What Makes You Beautiful" may spend a third week at the top. One Direction puts nine songs in the entire top 30 - mainly because I've been playing their album this week. They're slowly becoming my favourite boy-band of all time. Rihanna is the greatest gainer for the week with her 10-week #1 Billboard Hot 100 hit "We Found Love" as it climbed 19 spots from #23. Rihanna also places two more entries in the top 30. Celine Dion still has two songs in the top ten; down from three last week though "To Love You More" achieved a new peak. Glee Cast places two new debuts in the top thirty for "Without You" and "We Found Love". They're both expected to climb up the chart next week. More than ten songs has dropped out - this is easily the biggest shake-up of the chart thus far.

One Direction manages a 3 week reign atop my chart, with Mariah Carey scoring a #2 debut for her 2009 single, "Up Out My Face". It must be noted that "What Makes You Beautiful" just got one spin more than "Up Out My Face" to make the number-one. One Direction remains stable on this week's chart as all of their songs in the chart increased in positions. They have 9 songs in this week. Lana Del Rey manages four songs in the top 30 this week as well; and it is possible that she may top the chart next week. Rihanna maintains her #4 position with "We Found Love" and places a new song in the top 30, "Drunk On Love". It must be noted that the top ten was pretty much already determined in the first few days of the week as there were no songs that obtained as many plays. Next week, expect Lana Del Rey to score many debuts in the top 30 as I've been spinning her flawless album. Can One Direction finally be dethroned?

Lana Del Rey domination! Her entire "Born To Die" album charts in this countdown though she just fell short of the #1 spot. She occupies 15 of the 30 slots in this countdown, which is by far the most an artist has ever had (the last record was by Beyoncé with 13 tracks when "4" was released). Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger" finally dethrones One Direction from the pole position after 3 weeks at the top. Many drop-outs this week and I'm finally starting to get bored of the One Direction album as they have a few tracks that have dropped out. Glee Cast's "Without You" also drops out from #6; and this is by far the biggest fall of the chart since January 1, 2012. Next week, Lana has a strong chance to be #1 - or will Kelly Clarkson stop her from doing so?
