And it should deserve a re-release in the USA: It could easily reach the top 10 this time and 1 year charting would be nice :wink:

Regardless of its chart position, its still sold 2 MILLION copies there!

She needs to focus on getting more hits there - because otherwise she'll be a one hit wonder.

As of July 2011, t has sold over 2 million copies in US (certified double platinum by RIAA)

It is triple platinum in Australia and platinum in Canada. It has probably sold a decent amount of copies in Ireland as well.

I think it has sold around 400-500k copies in UK but i might be wrong.

I think it made sense to sing it on a Dancing Shiw considering this song broke through in America on the US version of the show

Yup the chart Positioning definately gives you a false impression! It was actually a massive hit sales wise in the US regardless of the Chart Position or Airplay

It just became big here... It had its official release in early December! Not to forget that the album was released yesterday in Germany (and propably in the other 2 countries, too).

The single of course is amazing - no question - but I wonder if it was good to release it as the album's first single. It's clearly the best track on it and a lead single should usually give a taste of what an album's like. So when people listened to Jar Of Hearts and therefore buy the album and see that no song is in the league of it, I don't think it's that well... So perhaps they should've gone for a release as the 3rd or 4th single. If people see that such a great track is released relatively late, they show interest in the album because they think there are more great tracks on it...
