I don't think I've ever heard 999, need to listen to do that one then!
I've liked her since Finish Line, but it's only the last few weeks that I've become a real fan of her.

Her iTunes Live EP is very good aswell, I bought it a couple of weeks ago since that's the only Yasmin thing that's available on iTunes here. Oh, and the On My Own single aswell I think. Need to get that one.

Great news about Noah B aswell! Excited for the result.

I found a song called "Suicide" online which I uploaded here. It's really good (in a similar vein to "5 Minutes"), although I think she it might be for an acoustic session. I also posted a leak called "Holding On" a while back on tumblr. It reminds me of something Katy B would do.

Yasmin also said in an interview that she was doing a cover of Kings Of Tomorrow's "Finally", which is one of her favourite dance tracks. I asked her about it on twitter and she said it's for an acoustic session.

Another cover to add to that list is her one of Sunshine Anderson's "Heard It All Before".

The "Takes 1 2 Know 1" demo is great, I can't wait to hear the final version. Her album can't come soon enough!

WOW! I had never heard her cover of 'Heard It All Before'! It's incredible, one of my favourite songs of all time anyway!

It's been way too long. "Light Up (The World)" was released in January (leaked in August!!), and we've still got no new news about a fourth single.

I'm getting bored waiting as a mega-fan, but Yasmin's not going to be making any impact with casual listeners if she continues to wait 8 months between singles.

I agree! I get that she's continuously recording but it almost seems like a hobby, just releasing singles now and again and it doesn't feel like we're building up to an album! :-?

At least we're getting lots of collaborations and stuff! I've been playing her collabs with Mikill Pane and David Stewart loads!

Agree with both of you. The album was supposed to come out this summer, right? We haven't even heard anything about a new single.
I also still don't understand why they waited so long after Finish Line, which did actually pretty well.

At least we've got the two collaboration which Carly mentioned. Both are very good.

I don't think it was posted here, but she did a cover of one of her favourite dance tracks (Kings Of Tomorrow's "Finally") and released it for free on soundcloud a while ago. It's beautiful. Listen.

It is soo annoying but she does seem to still be going to studio so the music career is not on the back burner. She needs to release something though!

Love that cover, have been loving all her stuff all over again recently.

Also I love her jewellery range so much, now I've got some money I'm getting a few pieces

Yasmin update - Gorgon City collaboration 'Real' premièred in December. It feels like forever since Yasmin tweeted about it, nut they're shooting a video for it so it must be getting the single treatment.

She also provided backing vocals for Clean Bandit ob their cover of Tinie's'Earthquake' in the live lounge.

That's it.

Hopefully we'll get the Major Lazer feature soon.
