Amen! Replies like that would've invoked hell in any other thread, but because it's JB it's okay? Kudos to people for ignoring the hate though.

I don't like the guy and I can't help but make fun of him now and again, but then I'm not in his target group. I think it's way too soon for any hate (which is never necessary) or dislike since he hasn't gotten the time to develop yet.

How many child celebritiesweren't awful? (Don't say Mozart please ). IMHO Justin Timberlake was laughable at first but he's definitely turned things around for him... who says the Bieber won't do the same?

Anyway, I won't be getting this album or even following it actively (aside for sales info) but I will be keeping an eye on his career!

I'll take my "go away" statement back if Kanye delivers him a banger.

The problem I have with him and also with One Direction is that they look pretty young and childish for their age  they look so young to me, while they are like my age. I mean I already had those "male voice problem' things when I was 12 and stuff, Bieber has them the recent year.

I think Bieber is indeed talented but I think I might like his music if he actually "grows up" a bit more, career wise.

But yeah my sister is in this Bieber fever mania, so I also am forced to listen his stuff that I don't like

He'll suffer a sophomore slump...in Bieber terms
I'm expecting a mad sophomore release like Gaga's madness...

I think he's collaborating with way too many artists!

I think he's going to make a Chris Brown Exclusive kind of album, which is more mature and edgier than the first album, but still not alienating the young fanbase that he has.

hmm when it comes to One Direction I think that physically they look their age, but yes they act wayyyyy to childish... well at lest infront of cameras( I don't think they act that way when they are with they way older girls after all  )..

However when it comes to Justin I defintely don't agree..
1. Even if it took quite a time, I think that he finally now looks his age..
2. I don't think that he comes as childish at all.. In front of cameras he comes as very mature one, and i think people could more possibly label him as borring one than childish...

The problem is that I am not a fan and the things that I see from him, are boring or childish in a way, it is probably more of a media thing, but yeah the general public (like me), doesn't get to see him as you may know him as fan, I hope you get me.

oh yes I completly get you ;)
I just say that I understand way more when people come and say like that he is borring or not interesting to watch than that he is childish, beacuse like I never see him act childish infront of cameras and so...

BTW. I'm not some big fan or something, I just got addicted to him recently when he started doing all this urban and more edgier stuff...

Well, I already liked his music since the first he came out but I've been becoming even a bigger fan ever since he decided to take to a more R&B route with Under The Mistletoe. So, I guess this one will be the uptempo/Hip-Hop-ier version of UTM, hopefully.

Must it always be hip hop.

Don't get me wrong: I love hip hop.

I just want to see R&B do well again.

Oh, Beyonce totally made an impact with her last album.

Just not on the charts.

^Well, I'd love him to do an R&B album but since he's pretty much obsessed with Hip-Hop lately ("Dr. Bieber", a cover of "Trust Issues", collabo with Chris in "Ladies Love Me", he was supposed to do that BET Hip-Hop thing etc) so I came with that conclusion.

Well, honestly his flow is actually a million times better than Chris' in "Ladies Love Me" though it kinda sounds similar with Big Sean's.

Dr. Beiber?

#SLAIN

------------------

But anyways: Justin has got some skills. I'll give him that. And he's nowhere close to being as annoying as he used to be.

All I'm saying is that I'm waiting for him to develop his own style.

It's nice that he looks up to people a lot but duplicating the people he looks up to is really hindering his ability to make a name for himself.

The Neptunes super-producer hit the studio with Justin Bieber in Miami to work on his upcoming album Believe over the weekend. While in town, the Biebs also logged studio time with Timbaland and went skateboarding with Lil Wayne.

In addition to the teen idol, Skateboard P cooked up some beats for former “X Factor” contestant and rapper Astro aka the Astronomical Kid, who recently inked a deal with Epic Records. Judging from the wheel in Astro’s hand, it looks like they also found time to play Mario Kart.

Add them to Pharrell’s growing list of recent collaborators including Ne-Yo, Wiz Khalifa, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg. Who gon’ stop him, huh?
Yes. I'm so glad there's no sign of him doing Dance/Electropop.

I like what I'm seeing from him in terms of maturation. His Christmas album showed that he's still on top even without a regular studio LP. And he's growing into his age... I like it.

I am hoping that he makes a successful trip from child/teen star to adult star. It's possible. Everyone's not doomed!

And he has talent, so he deserves it!
"Take A Bow"... Rihanna's ONLY ballad to go #1 on the Hot 100 (also topped the R&B Chart)... Great deed for her most epic ballad!!!

One of the biggest reasons I respect him(beside his talent) is that you clearly can see how much he is passionate about music(and how he was ever since he was child)... Watching stuff about him latley, I must say that I really got feeling that he cares much more about music itself than particularly for fame and money..And he is still so young!!

Plus the fact that he plays so many instruments...and not like plays them for fun, but he is really good at them = TALENT!!

That's why I think that he deservs much more respect and kudos from general public and people who are not fans....

Justin Bieber Will Change 'The Landscape' With Believe
Producer Mike Posner says Bieber's next album will make pop artists 'go back to the drawing board.'

This week, Justin Bieber dropped his single "Boyfriend," marking his first step toward making more mature-sounding pop tunes. Co-producer Mike Posner told MTV News that Bieber's upcoming Believe album displays how far he's come since the sugary sweet ditties of his My World days.

"I think our goal was to make something that me and my friends could listen to in the car," Posner explained. "I think we've all known Justin since he was 13, and that's not the kid I was in the studio with anymore. He's an 18-year-old. He skateboards with Lil Wayne and hangs out with Lil Twist. Those are his homies. And he listens to hip-hop and he's a really cool kid. He's not like a corny guy.

"So I wanted to make something that reflected who he is now and who he is going to continue to be," Posner added. "We're still working more on the project and it sounds really incredible. I think people have been waiting [for] when he's going to turn that corner, and the time is now."

Believe isn't going to change just Bieber's career, but all of pop music, Posner added. "He's kind of bringing soul back, and rhythm and blues back and definitely hip-hop into his music. I'm really excited to see how it's going to change the landscape, and I know a lot of artists are going to have to go back to the drawing board."

I don't think he'll fade away this quickly.. of that I'm sure... the transition period is always difficult for some artists... it impacts lower sales and radio hits.... we saw that it didn't really affect Christina, Britney or Justin when they had their transition period... I think Justin can go the same route, I for once accept that he's talented, he's been everywhere and that's what put him off a lot of people, but for me he was still the little kid from Youtube who dreamed of being a succesful recording star...
I'm not hatin' on him no more for some reason... and he's gettin' cute by the day :) !!

It's too early for him to "grow up". BSB, 'NSYNC, Britney and Christina among others all took at least three eras before they went for a more mature sound (and they were a lot older than Justin Bieber before they "changed" their sound).

Gaga, Nicki and now Bieber, pleasse artists and producers let the music speak for itself, don't hype it up like there is no tommorow, he already has a huge fanbase that is gonna buy it, there are no worries or needs to do that.

Justin Bieber once again faced the always-outrageous hosts on Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” when he called in on Tuesday morning. The 18-year-old singer discussed his more “urban” sound, collaborating with producers such as Timbaland, Pharrell, Diplo, and Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins on his upcoming album Believe.

“I just wanted to make something that was funky, but also something that my fans would like, and also something that I could branch out and get some older audience members,” said Bieber of the Mike Posner-produced first single “Boyfriend.”

Hip-hop has had an impact on his pop-friendly sound. “You have to pull from the hip-hop community, because that’s where all the swag comes from,” he said, while noting that he wasn’t planning to go overboard. “I’m not gonna try to go all the way there. I’m going halfway.”

Charlamagne Tha God gave the teen idol his stamp of approval, selecting him in the “racial draft.” “We’re taking you first round and we’re giving you Justin Timberlake’s old locker,” he joked.
