Estelle and Chris Brown! No John Legend! JANELLE! And Break My Heart is on it... good times! Do we think Don't Break it could just be an interlude into Break My Heart?

You're happy with no John Legend?! Was "Break My Heart" not expected to be on there? I looked and can't believe that it was released in May last year, I thought it was released around August! :o Time flies!

I'm sad "Freak" and "Fall In Love" won't be on it but I don't think the former would have fit in with the changed album direction. Hoped "Fall In Love" would be though as it charted on the US R&B charts.

Definitely looking forward to this. Seems to have taken forever! I can't believe it's been nearly FOUR years since "Shine" was released. "Break My Heart" and "Thank You" (one of the best things she's ever done) are both amazing and "Back To Love" is pretty good too. I hope the album does really well in the US, can't see it doing much in the UK sadly. I think they missed the boat with not promoting "Freak" and "Fall In Love" here.

Not promoting ANYTHING here! :P

My bad, I just meant those exclamations as 'things to note' as opposed to 'things of joy'! Just surprised he isn't there. Also I meant Back to Love, not Break My Heart, didn't know if it was just an EU release and maybe a bit too mainstream for the album.

I agree that I'm excited for it and that Thank You is one of her best ever... I hope she's garnered enough gradual support to do things with this album!

Oh I see. I thought you were pleased he didn't feature (poor John)! I'm sure he'll be on there in some capacity, he was for the first two albums.

AND yes! Not promoting ANYTHING is completely right... oh and not releasing the video/single version of the song that's your single doesn't help exactly (I'm talking about you, "Back To Love"). EDIT: I've just looked it up and it looks like they had put "Back In Love" on the single by accident and the video version is now on the single! :o

I also really hope she can make a success of the album. There have been lots of hurdles along the way by the looks of things. According to her official web site there's a digital deluxe version with 3 bonus tracks, hoping they will be new songs and not remixes!

They've just announced on her Facebook page that she's going to be performing on Jay Leno's "The Tonight Show" on 9th February! :D

Also, in December she talked to Factory 78 about the album and said there was going to be a song called "Victory" featuring Common on the album. Wonder if that might be one of the bonus tracks?

Cant wait to heat this album. I love her debut, but Shine lacked for me. I hope she raps on it.

I think it will sound very american though, which isn't a bad thing, but sometimes you just need some UK R&B.

Looking forward to this! Wonder why they haven't released the Chris Brown/Trey Songz collaboration yet! Surely that will be a MASSIVE urban smash?! :o

Really? I LOVED "Shine". Was listening to it this morning and it's still so good for me. I completely agree with you though, sometimes you just need UK R&B!

I was wondering that! They might be holding it back so the album continues to sell after it's released?

I'm actually a bit disappointed with the track listing now... 5 of the tracks are interludes. :( I'd rather have had "Fall In Love" and "Freak" on there as extra tracks!

TRACK LENGTHS:

From Amazon:

1. The Life - 3:28
2. International (Serious) (featuring Chris Brown and Trey Songz) - 3:56
3. You And I - 0:38
4. Love The Way We Used To - 3:33
5. Cold Crush - 3:18
6. Don't Break It - 1:17
7. Break My Heart (featuring Rick Ross) - 4:17
8. Thank You - 4:12
9. Who We Are - 1:02
10. Wonderful Life - 3:32
11. Found My Way... - 0:26
12. Back To Love - 3:47
13. Blue Skies - 0:20
14. Speak Ya Mind - 4:28
15. Do My Thing (featuring Janelle Monáe) - 3:28

Oh no, so it's just ten tracks really?! :(

I should have guessed 'Found My Way' for 'Back to Love' too!

It's a great little album! I've deleted all the interludes because they're rubbish.

'The Life' and 'Do My Thang' are my favourites, the latter NEEDS to be a single! Such a FEEL GOOD song!

I can't believe you're all listening to it! Glad you're liking it Carly, it means I probably will. ;) I'm gonna wait until the album release though as I've ordered the CD.

this.

I dont know wether to even keep it on my computer, i'm so dissapointed with it. The interludes are an absolute joke. Estelle also needs to remember she's British and not American.
After the long wait for this album, it's a complete let down. Bye Estelle, you lost a fan.

Surprised you guys are saying that! It's definitely not as good as 'The 18th Day' or 'Shine' but it's still a good R&B album.

It does lose a bit of it's quality at 'Love The Way We Used To' and 'Cold Crush' and the interludes are unneccessary but I think the material on the album is very good.

'Thank You', 'Back To Love', 'The Life' and 'Do Your Thang' are amongst the best things she's done!

Why is she even releasing this? None of the singles have even reached the TOP 100 in neither the US nor the UK. Give it up, Fanta.

Its a mess.

It's a bunch of RnB songs. Doesn't tell a story , no direction in terms of sound and this would have been canned in any decaded so I cant even say the sound is dated because there is no way anyone would accept material like this!!

International is hot because it's well a hotmess but the whole album is a hot mess. The key changes in some songs is just :o gurl you can't be Jenifer hudson and Beyonce in one freakin song
