I think AIU is probably the best introduction to Yoko, because it doesn't have the "screaming" that's on Plastic Ono Band and Fly, nor does it have the dated 80's production of her 1980's stuff. AIU and Feeling The Space are the best ones to really change people's perceptions on her and her music.

I feel the same way. I hate reading user reviews on Amazon and the sort since people just don't appreciate art . I read some horrid reviews for "Live Peace In Toronto" talking about how the album is unbearable once John turns the mic to Yoko. Personally, as good as John was, his set on Live Peace was effortless and far from his best work, and the album really kicks into gear when Yoko takes over and sings.

Most of the people that slag Yoko off are just Beatles/Lennon stans and most of them just sound stupid to me and some are quite scary! I just ignore them, they are not worth listening to.

I get that her music isn't for everyone, but I swear, "John John (Let's Hope for Peace)" is a effing performance... those who don't feel the power in it are really people stanning.

NF - Yes it's so very consistent, not come across too many like it and it's a double album as well! This one is going to be hell!

Some names of those tracks are sssssooo funny! I'm now in Yoko mode. Some songs pass my quality test instantly because of some weird Yoko noise. Great. I'm a bit drunk as well, but that should not affect my choices, it's just more fun right now. O.k. I have a clear message for 4 songs, have to cut them down to three in the final step.
