I can imagine "Alone" being the better song for the contest. It's been my fave as well (it received only like 17% of votes

).

I personally think the poppier versions of both songs (Alone and Standing Still) which Ornella (the other finalist) performed were better. He doesn't have to be all "rock".

I neither like the song nor do I like him and I don't think he has any chance of performing well at the ESC.

If they so deeply want to win the contest again, why don't they let one of those Rihanna/Katy Perry songwriters do a song for the winner?

Lena is one of the best recent winners for me (or the best winner of 00s) Both Satellite and Taken By a Stranger were amazing entries with awesome live performances. She brought a fresh air in Eurovision! Anyway!

Roman Lob is talented and cute! "Standing Still" is a nice, modern song and i hope everything goes well in Baku! (even if it's going to be a tough competition) Good luck Germany!

I keep noticing that everytime someone tries to upload Roman's Standing Still on Youtube it gets immediately removed for copyright infringement. :lol:

While i was listening to it the song froze and got deleted. :lol:

German videos are some of the hardest to watch on Youtube here in the States due to all the licensing. Alot of vids on VIVA are blocked here. I have to use a European proxy just to watch them. :-?

I heard that Vevo is blocked in Germany. I dont if thats true or not.
