So far only 2 albums managed to sell 1 mio. copies in one week which hasn't been the debuting week: Whitney Houston's The Bodyguard and The Beatles' 1.
It would be extremely great if 21 does similiar but I think now it's way more harder to do so than years ago... Of course not undoable considering all the records 21 already broke in the last year  .

I think after the 180k copies of this week, Adele will reach around 300-350k the week after ! 8-) +300k will be already just amazing : new total of near 7 million copies sold ! :D

This seems like a repetition of 2011. By the time the first big release of 2012 comes in, Adele will have a gap of more then 2 million.

I reckon it´s gonna be a hard battle for anyone to get this year-end #1 from her!

Is it me or are the coincidences with Adele's stats a little crazy, I mean, her album 21 is about spend its 21st week at 1 this week, breaking the record of Whitney Houston's album, a week after Whitney's death. Speaking of which Whitney's GH just supplanted Adele's 19 from the Top Catalog Albums Chart and I'm assuming these 2 albums will be 1 and 2 for the rest of the year.

Another one I just read today, she is renting a home worth 7million pounds and 21 is about to cross 7million copies this week....ok that one not as crazy, it's still a kind of a coincindence

It's a very strange coincidence. For some reason, I don't think Whitney's GH is going to hold up in the way Michael's Number Ones did.
