I dunno what it is, but the reality of Whitney's death seemed to hit so much faster. Three years on it's still pretty surreal to think that Michael Jackson is no longer with us, he always was so "larger than life" and had the sort of persona and image that you still find yourself thinking of him in the present tense... for some reason, Whitney's death was the polar opposite where the reality struck very quickly which made it so devastating.

Again, same here. The moment IWALY was played and they were taking the casket down the aisle I started crying again. And then they showed Cissy who was being held by two men. I can't.

What a beautiful, touching serving it was.

Rest in peace, Whitney. :(

My heart broke down when they played IWALY to take the coffin away!!!!
I don't think I took MJs funeral this bad!!!!

As Clive indicated, Whitney wanted to get her life, vocals and weight back on track!!! And this had to happen!!!!

I give Clive a standing ovation for sticking by Whitney through EVERYTHING!!! Tha s what you call a am human being. And what someone at the funeral said, despite what people do do themselves and others in life, it's how they treated you that counts! Nothing else!!!

I wish you all peace and love!!!

The moment they lifted the casket the Youtube wall went insane with everyone watching typing "Goodbye Whitney". So sad.

Seeing Ray J and Brandy break down when they left the casket had me on the ropes and then IWALY and seeing Cissy walk behind her casket...I was done and cried

the grand finale of the ceremony where they take the coffin out of the church was too much for me. I cried like a baby. It was soooo sad. With one of my alltime favourite songs in the background.. it was too much for me.

I love and miss her more than I can express in words now. She still had so much planned for the future. I will never forget her. The Greatest Love of all!

I will never forget waiting around the TV for the "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" video to world premiere on MTV, and how much I loved that song and video that summer.

So many memories attached in different parts of my life to her music.

anyone know the name of the other break up song that was picked to be the lead single before "I will always love you" changed all that??

I hope that song leaks on the internet.

Just finished watching Whitney's funeral. What a send-off for a true superstar. So good of the family to let us see it. So many touching tributes. RIP Whitney. :(

I can't possibly watch the whole thing - I've seen R Kelly, CeCe Winans and the casket being carried out.

And I am just a crying mess. Seeing her carried out is the ultimate realisation that we'll never see or hear her again. All we have left is memories.

RIP Whitney.

Funeral was so touching, I was bawling from start to finish. Kevin's speech was probably my favorite, Alicia the least... pretty disappointed in Aretha.

This had me in tears, the way "IWALY" played at the end when her casket was picked up made my heart sink. Whitney's death effected me more then Michael Jackson's. Every speech and performance suited the occasion.

However Aretha has a concert today, so I wonder why she didn't make it to Whitney's funeral?
