I'm finding myself drawn to 'Salute' and 'Nothin' But Love' since re-listening to the album. I love the "There been haters since this world's been goin round" section of 'NBL'. Whitney we miss you!JSparksFan wrote:You guys were not kidding about "Call You Tonight". That song is phenomenal! The title track, "Million Dollar Bill", and "Nothin' But Love" are all good too.
"For The Lovers" is another favorite from the album, I agree. I love that "...for the next 3 minutes it's about the lovers" line. I sing along to that every time I hear the song hahahaPawlu84 wrote:NBL is good but sounds quite dated FTL is better.

Good for you!GetBack wrote:When she released this, there were a lot who bashed this album. I'm glad I'm not one of those.![]()
But they're not bad, they just don't sound as good because of how we remember her voice before. She's still better here than most singers in the top 40.04wayne wrote:Good for you!GetBack wrote:When she released this, there were a lot who bashed this album. I'm glad I'm not one of those.![]()
I just think that us more humble of humans that did "bash" the album were shocked at how much her vocals had declined.
In death or not, her vocals are not very good on this record.
Who?TIfan wrote:Her vocals were okay. She kept it real and did not have editors make her range sond like it use to like some artist.
great that u love it so much. I love the album too. IGY is such an amazing song. One of her best mid-tempo R&B jams.preyan wrote:I really love this album. Whitney never compromised her sound which is another I will also love her. For The Lovers is such am awesome club jam![]()

I glad she ended off with this album. Vocally she's does sound to struggle here and there but all round, she delivered.
This is probably my second fave Whitney record after MLIYL!
