Estelle to replace Kelly Rowland on X-Factor

SIMON Cowell is lining up R&B singer Estelle to replace Kelly Rowland as a judge on the new series of The X Factor.
American Boy star Estelle, 32, is in talks after Kelly told Cowell she is to focus on her career in the US.

A source said: "Estelle's name is very high on his list now and serious enquiries have been made as to her availability for auditions in May."

Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos have been offered pay rises to return — along with stalwart Louis Walsh.

As much as I think Kelly is annoying as hell, she is an artist with a great career. Estelle's had one hit. I don't think she deserves a place on any judging panel.

Kelly needs to leave the X-Factor UK. She gave two good performances from Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. It's time for her to dominate the U.S. before the "B-everywhere-Gag-machine" comes out and push her in a corner.

Kelly was the reason i watched this year! i actually stopped watching the show 2 years ago! I want her to leave the show too, its not like she needs to do it, theres just too much drama on this show and she can do without all that crap!

I think I may switch off this year, Estelle come on? I take Kelly over her any day, I like Kelly but I don't blame her if she decides to leave, the british press treated her like S**t only because she was different but she put some life into last year's boring panel and she doesn't need it as much as the other judges, who are UK based only, The X factor has gone down hill imo, couldn't care less who the new judge will be, if Kelly leaves.

Whilst she is a "one hit wonder" in urban circles, Estelle is one of the most recognised and prestigious female R&B singers in the UK. Maybe Simon is looking for a new R&B singer from the UK!
