Apparently Pre-ordered 140,000 times in the UK :o

So annoying, that's 140,000 singles that didn't count towards GMAYL chart position :evil:
If you're going to Stan over someone, it might as well be the best: MADONNA - giving you hit after hit for 30 years, so that no one else has to.

With 140k + the sales she sold for #37 she would have been No.1 easily, no?

I can't see it anywhere near this number, I imagine worldwide the preorder total is around 200-250k

Was this alleged instrumental for "Beautiful Killer" posted?

It sounds divine and in line with what she should be doing at this stage in her career, instead of those "get down with the kids" crap like "Gimme All Your Luvin'" and "Girls Gone Wild". IMO

It actually sounds "Ray Of Light"-esque. I hope it's real.

I can't go through whole "W.E." soundtrack, because all tunes are so similar, but I think this one is on that album, or maybe some reject.

I really don't think that's correct. In the USA it was preordered around 50k and it had bigger longevity on iTunes #1 there.

The album sold 50k pre orders in its first 3 days of release, before the superbowl performance. The total number of pre orders is definitely bigger in US.

I know, but if I remember correctly MDNA didn't stay for long on itunes album chart. It really sounds unlikely to me.

I think the reports aren't exactly accurate, as preorder numbers always seem ridiculously inflated in the UK. I remember when Sophie Ellis-Bextor's album was going to be released (Trip The Light Fantastic era) and people posted about how preorders were at 80,000. :lol: It barely sold a quarter of that in its first week.

Yes I agree. Total pre pre orders in the US might be around 75-80k, 140k in UK seems definitely impossible.

After hearing Girl Gone Wild I've decided to purchase this album! Looking forward! I still feel bad for never buying Hard Candy, because I like Madonna. Happy to feel that she's back in form.

Glad to hear that an Orbit track has replaced "B-Day Song" (or whatever it was called) in the original tracklisting. 8-) The Deluxe Edition also contains four extra tracks. :o So exciting!

So...that means the standard edition will have:

2 benassi tracks, 3 Martin tracks and 6 Orbit songs! right? 8-)

There's definitely 6 Orbit tracks (8-)) but I'm not sure about the others.

Someone posted this in the GGW thread:
ernest2000 wrote:I know that this is a Girl Gone Wild thread, but for those who are STILL interested...new news from madonnatribe about the album and the tracklist:

MadonnaTribe has an exciting and esclusive update on the new Madonna album at less than one month from its March 26 release.
You've just read it in this news' title, the MDNA tracklisting welcomes a track called "Best Friend".

"Best Friend" is a brand new song co-produced by Benny Benassi and it will be exclusive to the Deluxe Edition of the new record.

And there is more to report, first of all the news that the Deluxe Edition is confirmed to have 17 tracks - but only one is a remix, four extra tracks are all brand new songs!

And there is more to report! Follow us in this recap - and make sure let us know what you think of "Best Friend" on our Forum and on Facebook.

As you already know MDNA will be published in two different formats. The Standard edition is confirmed to include 12 tracks, 4 more new songs and the "Party Rock Remix" of Give Me All Your Luvin' will be exclusive to the Deluxe Edition.

The physical release of the "MDNA" Deluxe Edition will be a 2 CD set. Disc One will be the same of the Standard edition, and the bonus tracks will be available on Disc Two.

Overall, 6 songs in the new album are produced by William Orbit, and 6 tracks are signed by Martin Solveig.

Benny and Alle Benassi were know as the contributors of two songs, but "Best Friend" brings their share up to 3.

The last song in the lot is produced by Hardy "Indiigo" Muanza. And Madonna, of course.

There have been small tweaks in both the song titles and the tracklist, the latter does not appear exactly as the one listed in the pre-order page on iTunes. "Girl Gone Wild" is now listed with the new title, but more importantly there has been a swap between two songs in the Standard and Deluxe edition.

"B-day Song" will now be exclusive to the Deluxe Edition. Please note that the song does include a featuring by "M.I.A.".

On the other hand, "Love Spent" leaves the tracklist of the Deluxe Edition to join that of the Standard release. This also means that all the Orbit-signed tracks are featured in the Standard CD.

The tracklist is still considered subject to change as manufacturing of the physical release has not started yet, leaving a window open to last minute changes.

So far the tracklist:

1.”Girl Gone Wild”
2. “Gang Bang”
3. “I’m Addicted”
4. “Some Girls”
5. “I Don’t Give A”
6. “Turn Up the Radio”
7. “Give Me All Your Luvin’”
8. “Love Spent”
9. “Superstar”
10. “I’m a Sinner”
11. “Masterpiece”
12. “Falling Free”

Deluxe Edition
14. “I **** Up”
15. “Beautiful Killer"
16. "Best Friend"
17. “B-day Song”
18."Give Me All Your Luvin' (Party Rock Remix)"

One month to go people.........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now we know the last song title...so the producers are:

1.”Girl Gone Wild” ---> B. Benassi
2. “Gang Bang” ---> W. Orbit
3. “I’m Addicted” ---> B. Benassi
4. “Some Girls” ---> W. Orbit
5. “I Don’t Give A” ---> M. Solveig
6. “Turn Up the Radio” ---> M. Solveig
7. “Give Me All Your Luvin’” ---> M. Solveig
8. “Love Spent” ---> W. Orbit
9. “Superstar” ---> Malih
10. “I’m a Sinner” ---> W. Orbit
11. “Masterpiece” ---> W. Orbit
12. “Falling Free” ---> W. Orbit

Deluxe Edition
14. “I **** Up” ---> M. Solveig
15. “Beautiful Killer" ---> M. Solveig
16. "Best Friend" ---> M. Solveig
17. “B-day Song” ---> M. Solveig
18."Give Me All Your Luvin' (Party Rock Remix)"

Ouch for M. Solveig! I guess this tells us who's doing the good music! Earlier reviews said that B-Day Song was the worst song on the record...and that one is out now. So besides Give Me All Your Lovin we get 6 William Orbit songs! That's more then half the record!

M. Solveig is just the guy that's filling up the left-overs disk now! :lol:

Wanna bet that i'm gonna prefer the second half of this record?

And one more thing...i really hope she releases a 3rd single that's more mature! seriously! she has to! If she's releasing an album that's both party and serious, the single choices should reflect the same, IMO!

She's yet to do anything with Orbit that I haven't liked (even with remixes), so there's still a chance that I'll enjoy most of the standard edition.

Oh, and "Turn Up The Radio" sounds quite good, so hopefully not all of the Solveig tracks will be naff. ;)

Madonna’s MDNA: What to expect from the song “I’m a Sinner” – EXCLUSIVE

Madonnarama gives you an exciting and exclusive preview on what to expect from Madonna’s new album, MDNA…

Madonna teams up with William Orbit for “I’m a Sinner.”
For sure, the track has WØ written all over it!

The song’s a catchy happy sexy delightfully psychedelic 60?s-inspired pop song in the continuity of William Orbit’s previous creations with Madonna.

Oddly it opens up the same way “Die Another Day” did, but takes a very different and familiar direction… Think “Beautiful Stranger” meets “Ray of Light”, and believe it or not, the sound remains very fresh and new!

The lyrics are fun and serious at the same time, with Madonna taking responsability for being a sinner, even saying she likes it.

She cites saints (Jesus, Mary, St Christopher, …) and talks bible.
There's only one Queen
and that's MADONNA.
