These updates are great because they are consistent and they allow the single to grow at a steady rate instead of having 50 million AI the first week and then dropping like a rock.

agree on the last post - HIS is my fav record of him, however, RvR-pattern is safe choice for a hit era

I want more pop songs and less r&b from him that will secure a multi platinum album in the US and some international countries, cant wait for him to smash on radio again....

I love usher's dance/pop songs but it doesn't suit him well what he did on climax is a nice blend it sounds like a confessions meets here I stand type of record. And to answer someone's question above rumor has it climax will be released in the UK April 19. I highly doubt that's true though as this is a Thursday. Aren't UK singles usually released on a Monday?

I do want a sound that will appeal to the world, but I want R&B Usher. I actually think a "Confessions" type album is what he's made for. I think that's why it smashed than any other album of his.

I feel this album will be mature without trying to force adulthood on the listeners (Here I Stand) or recover what was lost (RvR). It should be very solid, like "Climax."
"Take A Bow"... Rihanna's ONLY ballad to go #1 on the Hot 100 (also topped the R&B Chart)... Great deed for her most epic ballad!!!

RvR would have been a good album had it been more cohesive! It was all over the place from track placement to the sound of the album! And the radio updates are great! It should def be in the top 20 or 25 this week on the R&B chart!!! Climax might make a top 50 debut on the hot 100 with minimum promo!!!!

I'd rather he promote and release a video for this and make this the official lead single and let is smash! He's still the airplay king, on every mainstream format (pop, urban, rythmic) so I think he can really push this one.

And then wait until closer to the album's release to put out the smasher!!!

If he does more R&B he will flop harder than the here I stand era, the buying market is not here for R&B music anymore, OMG and More helped the albums cosistency on the BB 200 and be successful in Australia & some European countries

^^^ He's going to cater to pop audiences, but he's not going to completely sell out and he shouldn't! He's made too much money, has too many Grammys, big tours and big albums to sell out now completely to pop!
