Video is OK, she looks great. Not sure if it works if you haven't seen the film. I've seen the film but it's a proper adult horror - this doesn't really capture it.Eyes of Laura Mars is a 1978 thriller film starring Faye Dunaway and Tommy Lee Jones and directed by Irvin Kershner. The screenplay, adapted from a spec script titled Eyes, written by John Carpenter, was Carpenter's first major studio film. Producer Jon Peters, who was dating Barbra Streisand at the time, bought the screenplay as a starring vehicle for the actress, but Streisand eventually decided not to take the role because of "the kinky nature of the story", as Peters later explained. The role went to Dunaway, who had just won an Oscar for her performance in Network.
The film's theme song, "Prisoner", was performed by Streisand, and was included in the soundtrack.
Eyes of Laura Mars is said to be an example of an American version of the giallo genre. The film is also noted for its twist ending.
Laura Mars (Faye Dunaway) is a glamorous fashion photographer who specializes in stylized violence. Amid controversy over whether her photographs glorify violence and are demeaning to women, Laura begins seeing, in first person through the eyes of the killer, real-time visions of the murders of her friends and colleagues.
John Neville (Tommy Lee Jones), the lieutenant in charge of the case, shows Laura unpublished police photographs of unsolved murders that very closely mirror Laura's fashion shoots. Laura's visions continue, including visions of the killer stalking her.
No, it's been set for Feb 20th since it debuted (that was the date on the audio upload). I don't know where the mid-March thing came from.SeeForever wrote:This seems to be out in a week, but neither Radio 1 or 2 have playlisted the track![]()
Then again I think it was supposed to be released mid March so it's being released early?? So good chance she'll be playlisted this week by maybe both stations

Well not really surprising thanks to Radio 1 and 2, though people just don't have long memories when it comes to music, it's not like she's followed by loads of screaming young kids but adults/young adults who have forgotten about her already, the music industry can be really unforgivingBlondini wrote:Battered and bruised.

Shouldn't have spoken. White is now top 100, O'Connor top 300, Pip is nearly off the 1000.Blondini wrote:771
In good company, though. Jack White above her, Sinead O'Connor below.
