My Top Ten Song's Of February
In order to determine my top songs of February I have done a points system for the 4 Chart weeks that I made for February, where 1st place gets 20 points, 2nd place gets 19 points etc.
So each song's points for each week are added together to give them a score out of 80.
I hope you enjoy the countdown.
#10 - Beyonce - Why Don't You Love Me (36 Points)
#9 - Beyonce - Dance For You (42 Points)
#8 - Jessie J - Domino (43 Points)
#7 - Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You (48 Points)
#6 - Adele - Rolling In The Deep (49 Points)
#5 - Maroon 5 - Move's Like Jagger (56 Points)
I absolutely love this song, so much in fact that even though it was released last year it still make's it into my Top 5 Favorite Songs of February 2012.
It's Chart Run has been very impressive as it has been present in the Top 10 ever since it's debut and has increased in positions every week to give it it's peak position of #5, however with the way its chart run looks it has potential to increase even more.
#4 - Olly Murs - Dance With Me Tonight (57 Points)
This is my favorite song by Olly and I love the feel good vibe it has.
It peaked at #3 on its first week and has spent 3 of its 4 weeks in the Top 10 making it worthy to be my fourth favorite song of February.
#3 - Kelly Clarkson - Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) (64 Points)
This is also a Great song, although it is not my favorite from Kelly but I still like it due to her voice.
It peaked at #2 and has been in the Top Ten for all of its four weeks on the Chart making it a worthy #3.
#2 - Rebecca Ferguson - Nothing's Real But Love (68 Points)
This is an amazing song, although it's nowhere near the best song on Rebecca's album - Heaven - by far, it's still a Great song and Rebecca's voice is absolutely Stunning. I seriously feel that even if a song is terrible, by having Rebecca's voice on it, it makes it listenable.
It has done amazingly well on my Chart spending all it's 4 weeks in the Top Ten, 3 of which in the Top 5. It peaked at #2 in it's third week proving it's longevity is not to be messed with.
And so my #1 song is...
#1 - Beyonce - Love On Top (80 Points)
Probably not surprising to those that have viewed my Chart each week, but Love On Top takes the #1 spot and quite rightly so as it's my favorite song by Beyonce of all time, it has a Great feel good vibe and the vocals are absolutely awe-inspiring.
Love On Top has been #1 for every single week of February and it's 80 out of 80 Points Score shows that it is a very well deserving #1 song of February.
