Song-If this was a Movie
Album- Speak Now Deluxe edition
Songwriters- Taylor Swift and Martin Johnson
This song is a very good song it kinda has this pop feel too it. I think it would work great in some kinda romantic movie near the end... it just has that feel to it. My favorite lyrics to the song is
"If you're out there, if you're somewhere, if you're moving on
I've be waiting for you ever since you've been gone
I just want it back the way it was before
And I just wanna see you back at my front door"
Purely epic lyrics 8-)

This song , is AMAZING
I was listening to it earlier today and I was like '' this song is perfect , I wonder how well it would've done if it was released instead of Ours ''

What do you think it would've done?

I personally loved ITWAM more than Ours before Ours being released as a single and now I don't know .. I feel like it just applies to your mood , if you're happy you'd love ours more and if you're sad you'd love ITWAM more .. But it's so amazing !
I love your list ! can't wait for more songs :)

Both great songs I think Ours would have done better ITWAM would have slayed some romantic movie though it just isn't country enough to do well on country and with the electro sound on pop now it would have flopped there too but it would have probably slayed adult contemporary 8-)

Song- Come in with the Rain
Album-Fearless Platinum edition
Songwriters- Taylor Swift and Liz Rose

Come in with the Rain is a great tune. I love the acoustic sound to it and its one of the sweetest songs I've heard and one of my favorite Fearless bonus tracks :). I love these lyrics right here.
"Talk to yourself, talk to the tears
Talk to the man who put you here
And don't wait for the sky to clear"
oh and these lyrics too
"I've watched you so long
Screamed your name
I don't know what else I can say"
The later I like more for the deliver she uses over the lyrics themself and the former more for the lyrics themselves but those are the parts that really take the song to that higher level for me :)

Yeah its good almost made the upper half but I didn't feel it was worthy of that distinction. Where did it end up on your countdown?

Come In With The Rain is perfect country with undertones of pop. I love the violins in it, the mood, her vocals, an perfect chorus! Amazing country tune, I always picture her doing a duet with Tim McGraw on this one LOL  Rightly place 8-)

-If This Was A Movie is boring
-Come in with the rain is more boring.
-Last Kiss is useful when i need some sleep.
-Fifteen really slowed down Fearless' performance, therefore i hate it, Forever and Always shoulda been the 4th single.
-The way I loved you is cute but nothing more.
-Sparks Fly : i do not understand why it has received some hype before Speak came out: average song.
-Tied Together With A Smile : it s just great, the song, the lyrics are quite mature like Cold As You, one of the best tunes off Taylor Swift (album). I don t understand why some people blame her like her lyrics are always childish even though she has recorded her first album at the age of 16, i think it s amazing for a 16 yo girl to make songs like Tied Together With A Smile, Mary's song & Cold As You
-The Story Of Us >>>>>>>>>>>>> Your faves
What if we choose to exist in a reality of our own making, does that render us insane, and if so, isn't that better than a life of despair?

Song-Tim Mcgraw
Album- Taylor Swift
Songwriter- Taylor Swift and Liz Rose
Her debut single. This song was written about a boyfriend she had who she knew was about to go off to college. She knew they would have to end the relationship and the only thing she really wanted was for him to remember all the great times they had together especially whenever Tim Mcgraw would be played because I'd assume that one of his songs was 'their' song. Its very sweet and one of her most traditional country sounding songs.

I actually used to despise "Tim McGraw" back in the day but it's grown on me quite a bit. I still feel that "Teardrops On My Guitar" and "Our Song" would've been stronger lead singles but Taylor still did pretty well for herself. :)

Song-Speak Now
Album-Speak Now
Songwriter-Taylor Swift
Speak Now is a song about being in a situation where you feel like if you don't say something you could regret it for the rest of your life. The lyics to the song explain why she wants to stop this wedding and than how she does it. I like the song because of its cutesy story telling and the simple chords. I also really like the way she sings the song vocally. My favorite part of the song is
"I hear the preacher say
'Speak now or forever hold your peace'
There's the silence, there's my last chance
I stand up with shaking hands
All eyes on me

Horrified looks from
Everyone in the room
But I'm only looking at you."

"Speak Now" is absolutely amazing! I remember loving the track from the very first listen. I love the bridge, but my favourite part has got to be the beginning. "I am not the kind of girl who should be rudely barging in on a white veil occasion." It was my #4 on my T-Swift countdown.

Song- Forever and Always
Album-Fearless
Songwriter-Taylor Swift
Forever and Always is a song written about a relationship with a boy who she dated and things turning bad. Swift said in an interview before that the song evokes the different emotions that go into a break-up from the anger at the start to the sadness and then to the realization that every thing will be fine. She later recorded a piano version for the platinum version. Here are some lyrics to the song
"So here's to everything, coming down to nothing
Here's to silence that cuts me to the core
Where is this going? Thought I knew for a minute But I don't anymore"
