Week 26/9

Five new tracks appear on this week's chart. At 16th spot arrives Adele with 'Rumour Has It'. It's singer's third entry on the chart - will it repeat the succes of 'Someone Like You' which is actually the second best performing song ever? Time will tell!
The next new entry has Bob Sinclar. 'Rock With You' featuring Sophie Ellis-Bextor enters chart at 15th spot.
At 14th position, also for the first time, appears Alyssa Reid with 'Alone Again' featuring P. Reign. The track is the Airplay Gainer of the week.
And the last one new entry below top 10: at 13th spot debuts Flo Rida featuring Sia with 'Wild Ones'. The song is Sia's second track on the chart (the another one, 'Titanium', have peaked at number one and is still charting, currently at 10th spot).

Let's take a look at top 5:
5th spot this week belongs to Avicii as 'Levels' slips 4-5 in its second week on chart. However, the song is still increasing in points.
Down to 4th spot is 'Nie Przegap' by Ewa Farna. The track falls out of the top spot after spending there six consecutive weeks. Far behind there's Alexis Jordan with only three consecutive weeks at the highest position ('Hush Hush' - September 11 to 25, 2011).
Up to 3rd spot is Katy Perry with 'Part of Me'. Singer's most recent single reaches new peak in its third week on chart and becomes the Greatest Gainer of the week. It's Perry's first song to crack into top 3.
3-2 jumps Jessie J with 'Domino'. The song every day is getting closer and closer to the top spot.
But this week at the highest position surprisingly jumps from Bubbling Under Goodwill & Hook N Sling with their single 'Take You Higher', a remix of 'Big Jet Plane' by Angus and Julia Stone. It's the second song that managed to enter chart at the highest spot. The previous one, namely 'Poplyniemy Daleko' by Alexandra, did it in the last week of November 2011. However, the song spet only seven weeks on chart.

And 17/25! That's probably the best result ever! :D

I guarantee 2 of them will definitely appear on the chart this week. ;)

Thanks! Well, looks like Jessie J is going to stay there for at least one more week ;)

Thanks! The difference between top 3 spots last week was really small. Well, although Part of Me is going to decrease a bit this week (only predictions, there are 3 days left and everything can happen!), I'm sure that #3 won't be its peak position. ;)

Thanks! Please let me know what you think about it. :)

Wow, looks like my top 3 is almost the same as yours! :D

And again, thanks to everyone for every single comment! I can't imagine this thread without your support. Thank you again ;)

Week 27/10 (3/11/2012)

There's only one song that appears on the chart for the first time this week: it's 'Munky Funky' by Corina, which debuts at 17th spot. However, at 18th spot re-enter chart Rihanna and Calvin Harris with 'We Found Love'. It's song's 22nd week on chart, which makes it the longest runner and best-performing single in the chart history.

What's going on in top 5 this week?
Up to 5th spot is 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)' by Kelly Clarkson. It's its 8th week on chart. The song has peaked five weeks ago at 4th spot.
At 4th spot jumps Bob Sinclar. His recording 'Rock With You' featuring Sophie Ellis-Bextor reaches new peak in its second week on chart.
Down to no.3 is previous week's number one, namely 'Take You Higher' by Goodwill & Hook N Sling. It's been the first debut at number one since Alexandra's 'Pop?yniemy Daleko' entered chart at highest position on 27th November, 2011, but, same as its predecessor, 'Take You Higher' didn't manage to stay atop for a second consecutive week (however, Alexandra was back atop in her third week on chart).
At 2nd spot remains 'Domino' by Jessie J. It's its 5th week on chart and 3rd in top 5.
And at the highest spot celebrates victory Alyssa Reid as her 'Alone Again' featuring P. Reign (or Jump Smokers!) jumps 14-1 and becomes the greatest and airplay gainer of the week.
