This one took ages to grow on me, but when it did, I couldn't get enough of it, hanging inside my top 50 for 18 weeks. Although it had the lowest peak of the 3 charting KanYe songs in my personal chart this year, it was the one that stuck around long enough to rack up enough points to make my #9 of the year. He has now had 14 appearances in my best of lists.

Massive woo for All Of The Lights!! :D

What a hip-hop smash that is. It's one of my favorite Kanye songs and it was my #2 song of 2011!! 8-)

Well it's all up to you Shane!
I guess your taste in music is just too good! :P

But who knows... Maybe I'll find a track in the remaining 8 that I don't like...

*I don't expect that to happen though! :P*

Finally able to continue.

Now with an act that had had very limited success in my chart prior to this year when they went top 5 with "Blind Faith" (#112) and then took this to #1. They also charted with "Hitz" (#309) and "Flashing Lights" (#363), while vocalist, Delilah went on to have her own hit "Go" (#419).

A bit of a surprise one now. A song released at the end of 2010 totally passed me by, it wasn't until the Spring of 2011 that it finally broke into my chart and reached a peak of #8, not budging from the chart for 18 weeks. Strangely, the song goes even further in my year end chart reaching #7, becoming the biggest success to date for both artists.

Woo for Runaway! :D

At first I didn't pay much attention to the song, but once I gave it a real proper listen... I was hooked on the song! 8-)

Just before we get to the top 5...

It's been an extraordinary time for Flo Rida as he continues to throw out hit after hit, 2 #1s for me this year, with this and "Who Dat Girl?" (#35) as well as a #2 feature on Guetta's "Where Them Girls At?" (#37) and he started this year by topping the chart once more with "Wild Ones" (#220). Can't wait to see what's coming next. This one used the same Etta James sample as Avicii's chart topper "Levels" (#80).

Last 3 were all pretty good. The "Levels" version of "Good Feeling" was great - still prefer Avicii's "Levels" over any other incarnation though.

Nice to see that Devlin track get some love!

When 2 of the biggest acts of the year teamed up it could only lead to massive success, this track went back to #1 in my chart recently and currently sits at #10 on my personal chart, now in its 28th week around. This track is unstoppable!

She's such a one hit wonder in my chart, I never got into anything else I heard by Clare, but this track is just incredible, a Florence style power vocal, so catchy and packed with emotion!

It all began with a bit of Lucazade and the return of Sian Evans of Kosheen. This song was a week short of spending half a year in my top 50 and became DJ Fresh's second top 3 hit, following "Hypercaine" in 2009. I live for the breakdown in the last 20 seconds!

So when the video to this track dropped I remember showing it to my friend and saying that I thought this could be her first big breakthrough hit, and it certainly was. Probably still her signature song so far, it spent exactly half a year inside my top 50.
