She doesn't need to comment much imo. It's clear she's invited just to add something interesting on the show with her sweet personality. I think we won't expect her to make great comments.

Negotiations are still on!

"Money is not an issue for the show. As of now, they are looking to pay her $12 to $15 million for the first season, with a drastic price hike for a second year based on ratings performance. [Executive producer] Simon Cowell wants at least a two-year commitment, and Britney wants an out clause if she doesn't want to continue after one year of service."
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/ustv/s141/the-x-factor-us/news/a370807/the-x-factor-usa-britney-spears-wants-one-year-exit-clause.html

That's some smart business right there!

This is the perfect opportunity for her to show the world that this is 2012 and not 2007! (yes, many dumbasses still think she's bald and crazy Image) and she could get used to being in front of the camera again and would display a different side of her while still making millions.

Lots of media training I guess!

I still hope this is going to happen. In my opinion this will do her career good! :D

I think Britney should take the ten million humbly. J. Lo didn't get a raise until the second season after she proved her worth on Idol, as did Steven Tyler. With the recession and everything, Britney considering $10 million beneath her to sit down for two hours a week four months of the year doesn't make her look that great.

Honestly, I think they are all ridiculously overpaid. They are the easiest jobs in the world, and get paid more than those who work on shows that require 70 hours a week of learning their lines and everything. I hope Fox tells Britney where to shove it for balking at $10 million a year for spending 2-4 hours a week for a few months of the air judging singers to be beneath her when we have some phenomenal TV actors lucky to make $3-4 million a season (and those are high end TV actors) for amazing performances. Lipsynching queen is offered 4 times what Jim Parsons ($100k an episode) is making a season and that is bs since Jim is phenomenal on The Big Bang Theory, and has to work much harder on that show than any Idol/X-Factor/Voice judge does.

Oh gurl don't even try to go there cuz you ain't going anywhere..

Christina didn't got $10 million.. she got $7.5 million and that was huge for her since she's not a touring act since... 2006?.

Jlo got $12 million, every single media reporting about Britney on X factor reported that numbers for Jlo.

So gurl, phuuulease! take a sit.

Stop acting like Britney is "balking" at ten million because she thinks she's beneath it. That's simply what has been reported in the media thus far, and you're already taking it as gospel. There are a million other reasons she may or may not be considering the deal, and, if you must know, there are already reports surfacing that money wasn't necessarily the issue that Britney had with the deal; it was the lack of an out clause in the event that she wanted to pursue other career moves in the future. And even if that isn't the case, I think it's very presumptive of you to assume that she's a high-faluting bitch who stuck her nose up at ten million dollars when she's generally considered one of the nicer stars out there today...people like you are just hell-bent on believing the absolute worst about her, aren't you?

Oh dear you're going to have to do your research.

I have no reason to be pressed, like how old are you? Britney is a massive icon. An artist that I have grown up with, not just jumped on the fad of an artist like so many do in here....
