The weekend's selections...I like Euphoria (she will probably be the bookmaerks' favourite running into the contest).

Portugal made a quite predictable choice but the song is ok and she can sing

Serbia, like Croatia, I can't decide if I like it or not!

Moldova and Romania didn't impress me much. After the first hearing, I didn't come back listening them in the following days.

Italy...I prefered Per Sempre.

San Marino is supposed to have chosen Valentina Monetta, a young artist from San Marino.

Surprisingly, France, Romania & Netherlands are low in the betting odds.

Romania's song is growing on me, it's very modern and obviously it will receive Spain's 12 points

However, they may try to develop an Italian/English version by Sunday's deadline.
I love the new song :D

Two songs were presented tonight!

Montenegro: horrible. No tune whatsoever.

Bosnia & Herzegovina: she's lovely! Cute little ballad, gets better after the first minute, the instrumental part is amazing!

How professional have the Bosnia entries have been since they have been internally selecting them? Hari Mata Hari, Marija Sestic, Laka (that's how funny should sound/look like), Regina, Maya!

They will definitely get loads of points from televoting, so they have high chances of winning the contest or just getting a top 3 result which would be a huge success. If you ask me, they don't deserve to win, there are far better (modern) songs than this.

I love Ivi Adamou (Cyprus) and her song "La la love"

She's super cute and talented. I want Cyprus to do well this year :D

^Oh they definitely don't deserve to win, there are far better songs. Just think it will, its catchy and novelty!

^Moldova did not win last year :P though their song wasn't catchy.

Check out Romania's song as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3ukcxou2xI

I expect it to be very high in the scoreboard. Watch it becoming a hit on iTunes after the live performance on the first semifinal.

It seems that Sweden will face tough competition in Baku. :P

I don't think so. "Euphoria" falls in a totally different category, it's, as far as I know, something the Eurovision never had.

But my favourites are like this:
01.Norway
02.Cyprus
03.Sweden

San Marino :o

Do you want cyber sex again? Facebook uh oh oh

and, first of all, why when she propose to make love with her...a pop up of an old man appears. Anggun would have had 12 male models in underwear

San Marino :o :o :o surely that won't be a forgotten entry, no matter the draw in the running order!

Cheap entry, sounds like a demo pop song from the late 90s by your average has-been pop star! I wonder if EBU will allow the lyrics, after all Facebook is a trademark, isn't it?

Belgium picks its entry tonight, it's either "Safety" or "Would You", both ballads.

"Facebook, Uh, Oh, Oh" Song Ignites The Eurovision Song Contest Community

Never far from the cutting edge of culture, this year’s Eurovision Song Contest is set to bring the world of social networks to a global audience of 125 million viewers. While the contest isn’t until May, countries across Europe are announcing their ‘Song for Europe’ to the fans and media. Moments ago, San Marino debuted their song, and it’s already proving a headache.

It’s a typical slice of Europop, which may or may not do well at the Contest set to be held in Baku. It’s just that it’s all about Facebook

It’s the most cringe-worthy Eurovision song in many years, and composer Ralph Siegel who’s behind nineteen previous Eurovision songs in his career should know better. Fans are already heading to the rulebook and are pretty sure it breaches Rule 1.2.2.g: ”No commercial messages of any kind shall be allowed. A breach of this rule may result in disqualification”.

Meanwhile, I’m expecting this video to go viral over the weekend… which if nothing else should help singer Valentina Monetta’s profile.

Iris - Would You? [ESC 2012 BELGIUM]

This won't do the trick, I'm afraid.
