I really loved Live around the time of Throwing Copper, but their latter stuff never quite got my attention the same way.

CCR is overrated in the US, but they still have a dozen of so songs that are undisputed classics.

Billy Joel is amazing and I miss new music from him, it's coming up on 20 years since River Of Dreams.

Billy Joel is indeed an outstanding talent. I think he gets overlooked in general. He has so many incredible songs. Just like Elton John to whom he's often compared to.

The only song in your top 5 that i totally and utterly detest is, we didn't start the fire.

I like songs from all of them but am not a big fan of any of them to be honest. :D Shame Alanis did not make it, hopefully Anastacia will make an entry in the future also as I know you also like her! :D Great countdown! :D

Lots of great artists there :D I really like all of the top 12 to some extent.

I kinda expected ABBA to get #1, well-deserved :D

I haven't popped into this forum for a while so missed the rundown - which was quite quick!

Here's my favourites from your list...

#30 Sweet. I had them on my list too. Love is Like Oxygen is my favourite too.

#29 Depeche Mode. An act in my Top 10

#27 Pet Shop Boys

#18 REM. Some great songs especially in early 90s. Losing My Religion is my fave.

#9 Elvis. Higher on Benny's list than mine

#7 Michael Jackson. In my Top 10 too.

#5 Elton John.

#4 Fleetwood mac. #2 on my list. Benny and I have very similiar tastes regarding FM songs :D

#3 Bee Gees. Another one that made my Top 10.

#2 Madonna. Yup, another act in my Top 10.

#1 ABBA. My #1 too :D :D :D
I'm not the biggest fan of The Winner takes it All but SOS, Knowing Me Knowing You, Money Money Money and Dancing Queen are all outstanding.

There are artists on this list that have great songs eg Britney's Baby, One More time and others such as Bryan Adam's Summer of 69, - both Benny's favourites from those artists too. But generally I'm not abig fan of those artists.

Michael Jackson: He's one of my alltime favourite artists too. he would also rank in my top 10.

Simon & Garfunkel: They made timeless evergreens. I own one album by Art Garfunkel.

Whitney Houston: She was my first alltime favourite artist. She is easily ranked as one of my favourite artists of all times (Top 10).

Elton John: I own his Greatest Hits album. His music is timeless.

Madonna: She currently ranks #2 on my most played female artists list since 2004.

ABBA: I like many of their songs. My mother was a super hardcore fan in the 70's.
