Needless to say, the young 'uns didn't appreciate it to the extent of the average UKMIX GA-stan. It'll probably take a little while to grow on them - as it did with me - but I'll make every plausible excuse to play it whenever I can, just for their future's sake.
You may be half way across the world in some Asian country but it's good to see you still stanning hard for TheAloud. Realistically I don't think we'll get a reunion until late 2012. I highly doubt they'll open the Olympics, that'll go to soemone like Adele or Take That.

I honestly think the public are getting bored of waiting for them

None of their solo careers are exactly flying. They should've been back with a new album this winter.

They're getting older now as well. I think they should've made the most of the end of their 20's, and had time off in their 30's.

Happy Anniversary.

Although I still have high doubts about them ever getting back together.

Nadine: "Just keep smiling... Pretend to like them and Nadine 3.0 might sell"
Sarah: "vodka vodka vodka vodka vodka vodka vodka"

Seriously though, I miss my girls. Can't believe 9 years since "Bye Boys. Buy Girls" 8-)
If you're going to Stan over someone, it might as well be the best: MADONNA - giving you hit after hit for 30 years, so that no one else has to.

Tangled Up is my favorite era of them. Their best album, best singles, best single covers, best album cover(s), best font, best everything
Very true. They're just wasting their times with their solo projects. Some tunes were ok, but the global thing ain't so good

Ugh, I'm so drunk I could cry. Why can't these girls kiss and make-up, rush-release a single and stop those non-winners Little Mix from #1?

YEAR IN WHICH YOU EXPECT GIRLS ALOUD TO RETURN FROM THEIR 'YEAR OFF'

1. 2012

2. 2013

3. Never

4. 2014

5. 2015

EDITOR'S NOTE: We've got our fingers crossed for 2012 too but we don't want it to be anything to do with The Bloody Olympics. We want it to be amazing in its own right although we do, of course, want any accompanying 'cinematography' to have a budget at least three times that of the Olympic opening ceremony. Mind you this is Girls Aloud so anything upwards of the cost of a Bounty would be fine.

Nadine confirms REUNION TOUR and ONE OR TWO MORE SINGLES:

Nadine Coyle has confirmed that Girls Aloud are planning a reunion tour and new material.

The singer revealed that the band will perform shows around the country at the beginning of 2013 to celebrate their tenth anniversary.

"It's time to come back. At the end of the year it would have been ten years and it feels like the right time to regroup. I know everyone's been speculating about what we will do. It will be arena dates at the start of next year and we will have new music to go with it," Coyle told Dean Piper at Sir Elton John's Oscar party in LA.

"One or two singles I would think. It depends on how well it goes with the tour announcement. If things work well, there's enough demand and we're all in the same head space as a band then who knows what could happen.

"I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the girls. It's been a long time since we've all been in the same room together. But the truth is there's no big problem with me and the girls. I've been living here and not been home much and I have a life here now."

Girls Aloud were expected to make a comeback this year, although Nicola Roberts had previously announced that their plans had been delayed.

"I've been really worried about Sarah and I'm glad to see she's getting better," Coyle added. "I'm thrilled Kimberley's doing well on the West End and Cheryl and Nicola are working hard on their music.

"Everyone was so keen to put Cheryl and me against each other - but we just weren't enemies. We are very different people musically, that's all."

Coyle concluded by insisting that she is "proud" of her solo album, saying releasing music was "never about chart positions".

I would gather, from that news, that a brand new Greatest Hits collection will be released in time for Christmas, possibly looking like this:

1. Sexy! No, No, No...
2. Call The Shots
3. Can't Speak French
4. The Promise
5. The Loving Kind
6. Untouchable
7. *new track*
8. *...and a second*
9. *...and maybe a third*
10-14/5. *unreleased tracks/alternate versions*
15/6. Walk This Way (feat. Shoo-guh-boobs) [Bonus Track]

^ I can't see them releasing another GH yet.

From the sound of the article it seems like this is when Nadine thinks it's going to happen, she never said that she's spoken to the other girls about it so I still don't believe that it's gonna happen this year.

But at least we know that she's still game for a reunion!

Yes, you just keep telling yourself that, Nadine!

I agree with Spartan, I don't think anything has actually just been confirmed, this is just Nadine finally realising getting back with GA is the right choice and making it known that she's up for it.

I really hope they release a new studio album at the end of the year. Hopefully they won't use Cheryl more than Nadine Or Sarah Just Because She Was Successful Solo.
Lead vocals on songs should go:
Nadine---6
Sarah---4
Nicola---3
Cheryl---2
But with great harmonies and at least 3 of the girls getting a verse on each song

I think Tangled Up had a good amount of vocal distribution, so hopefully it'll be similar to that.

I doubt there will be a new studio album.

They'll release a 10-year anniversary special singles collection, with 2 singles. And a tour early 2013.

Girls Aloud are discussing plans for a new album, according to Kimberley Walsh.

The band were known to be reuniting for a tour in 2013 to mark their ten-year anniversary, but it was previously unclear if they planned to release new material.

"Me and the girls are chatting about ideas right now. It's not definitely just a one-off single. That's what we are talking about at the minute," Walsh told the Daily Star Sunday.

"We will have to see what happens but I'm certainly not ruling out a studio album just yet. It will be the Girls Aloud sound but moving forward with a twist."

She added: "I'm really, really excited about the Sugababes reforming. It will be really good if we are both releasing at the same time because that's how we started. We had a healthy rivalry and it will make us both raise our games."

Sources have also now suggested that the reason behind the Girls Aloud comeback being delayed until 2013 was to allow enough time to record an album.
