No,I'm not gonna diss her,or any other SG.
I was wondering,I assume you all have heard some of her songs(I've heard:Not Such An Innocent Girl,A Mind Of It's Own,Midnight Fantasy and No Trix,No Games),what music direction do u think she should go to?

I liked AMOIO the best,and judging by that,I think Spoken Word will fit her perfectly. :smile:

i think that her voice is suited for pop aswell as R&b. I like her song mind of its own. But what is buggin me is that she releases the least favourite songs on her album as singles. And on her album, the track listing is stuffed as well. She puts the weak songs frist and the best songs last.

I agree - she does choose strange singles. Her album has big, strong tracks like "Girlfriend", "Whatcha Talkin' Bout" and "I Wish", but chooses to release the so-so "Not Such An Innocent Girl", the great-but-not-fantastic "A Mind Of It's Own" and the not-so-good "I.O.U."

I disagree about the track listing though. The first three songs are fairly weak and the last couple are pretty weak. He best stuff is in between those. And another thing - why the hell isn't "Out Of Your Mind" on here - surely it would do nothing bu boost album sales.

And I think Victoria has a great voice that best suits mainstream pop, garage and pop/r'n'b.

Been listening to this Victoria Beckham album and it sounds fun. She may not have the best vocals but she has good songs:

1. Not Such an Innocent Girl
2. A Mind of Its Own
3. That Kind of Girl

I really wish she included "Out of Your Mind" with Dane Bowers and True Steppers. The album art is also gorgeous. It looks like a posh magazine album from Victoria's Secret or something. 8-)

It did and it's amazing.

Victoria probably released the most expansive solo spice album out of them all. And the album isn't that bad. I still remember when in 2001 the UK media went crazy over "Not Such An Innocent Girl" Vs. "Can't Let You (Out Of My Head)".

At least she had the balls to go acoustic. Some parts are awful, but some are pretty decent for what's expected on her standard. Well, I'll always like her.

Aww, she does have balls but her voice really isn't awful at all, quite ok, just weak.

I actually didn't mind that at all

Of course, she can hold a tune. She is a proper singer (with a background in performing in theater and acting too). I don't think she would have survived the cut-offs until the final line-up of Spice Girls if she was off-key or if she can't sing in tune. She may not be a great vocalist but she knows how to present herself in her songs.

I enjoyed her first album, and her second album isn't bad. I guess the fact that she isn't really generating success as a solo artist (as well as the constant criticism she faced) made her decide to focus on non-musical career ventures.
