I've always said that if you could take Whitney's vocal peak, Mariah's songwriting and Celine's live performance skills and vocal longevity, you'd get the greatest female artist of ALL-TIME - nobody could compete.

Celine's vocal longevity is absolutely ASTOUNDING, considering how often she's performed - you're talking about a woman that has performed live over 1,000 times since 2002 in concerts alone. And nowadays, she does lip between 20-40% of her Vegas shows, but given her performance schedule, she should be forgiven. Her songs are so vocally demanding.

With all of this being said, if she manages to perform a two year world tour following Vegas, I will just love her even more.

I was thinking of listening to some Céline albums today but I didn't know which ones, so I'll just listen to Wayne's top 50 instead. :lol:

It has practically songs from Céline's entire discography.

Pretty good Top 50 I must say, by the way.

YAY for "My Love" and "Everybody's Talkin' My Baby Down"! I think both are very underrated.

"L'amour Existe Amor" is excellent. I love the version from A l'Olympia.

The Colour of My Love is an exceptional album, I love the album booklet, and how sweet her message to Rene is!

I also love that its the album that turned her into an international superstar, as opposed to a North American superstar!

I bought S'il suffisait d'aimer on Christmas 1998 but it was only a couple of years ago that I fell in love with Tous les Blues Sont Ecrits pour Toi. What a powerfull song! and I love the French-English mix:
