I really think the discussion about "overratings" is so stupid...if a big crowd love a song and it is a big hit on the charts = it cant be overrated! You only talk about your taste!

I'm not crazy about The Boy Is Mine. I'm not saying it's overrated and didn't deserve it's Grammy and everything, it's just far from my favorite song by either of them. All in all, I have to come to the conclusion that this is growing on me still. I'm not in love with It All Belongs To Me, but when I'm at work or at home I find myself humming it and singing the chorus to myself without realizing. So it found a way to hook itself in my brain hahaha I hope it is successful. I'd really like both of these girls to be on top again.

Of course it would SEEM as if Monica hasn't grown vocally...but since she came out in '95 sounding like a grown woman, the growth won't be as evident when comparing it to Brandy who actually sounded like a teen back in the days. Plus Brandy has been more absent from music than Monica has so her vocals sound more fresh.
