The song is goign for adds (Mainstream/Pop format) March 27, according to AllAccess.

Taylor is really evolving as an artist in my opinion. Both this and Safe & Sound are her best work to date!

"Eyes Open" is way better than "Safe & Sound" but I miss "Mine" and "Enchanted" Taylor.

^ I'm sure she will be back to that form this was just a soundtrack but in a way more mature way. 8-)

I love both Taylors but it's refreshing to hear her shaking it up 8-)

and I love this song! Son epic, glad it;s going to be sent to pop radio! I hope the public likes this new sound and be shocked that it;s Taylor and love it and make it a hit! 8-)

and you guess Enchanted is one of her best songs ever, if you compare any song to it, it makes it hard to say that the one being compared is any good :lol:

I seem to be in the minority as I think this song is kinda crap to be honest!

Safe and Sound is more haunting and it appeals to me more compared to this.

S & S is now 71 UK iTunes, Eyes dropping from 41 to 77. So it was just the buzz of a new song that got it high. I think it plays during the end credits long after the film has finished. So most cinema-goers haven't heard it. I always stay to hear the songs!

Not seen it yet, though.

I saw it. It's not in the film at all! Shame. Kind of surprised the Arcade Fire song wasn't a single before now seeing as it starts the end credits - Safe and Sound and Kingdom Come follow it. All the other songs are on the album only - making it an "inspired by" album rather than a soundtrack. Fairly decent set. Was gonna post it in Rock but seeing as the site is closing, not much point.

this is back to ol' Taylor to me.. Safe and Sound is much better
