CIL is overrated, but don't worry, there are a few Bee tracks in the countdown. ;)

This is Fergie's only entry in the chart. After rulling the charts with BEP, she released her solo album full of great songs and this one was easily my favorite. A great beat with Fergie rapping over it really worked on this and the video was pure HOTNESS.
Image

At #194 we have U2's 2004 single Vertigo which is by far their best single from the 00s. This was the time when I was really into rock music and was one of the highlights of the year. Bono's vocals are really powerful on this.
Image

I never thought that the cover of Michael Jackson's hit by some random rock band would be better than the original but it was. It did quite good on the charts in 2001 and it had a great party video. Needless to say that this is Alien Ant Farm's only entry on the countdown.
Image

3rd rock song in a row is Mando Diao's Dance With Somebody. This really took time to grow on me, but once it did I couldn't get enough of it which surprised me since I rarely love rock songs now. The follow-up to this Gloria was also really good but it failed to make the countdown.
Image

I guess I'm the only one that really loves this song from Buffy's musical episode. The vocals are quite bad but it didn't matter as it was catchy as hell. This was on all the time on VIVA and that is probably the main reason I fell in love with this. I still play this quite often.

198 Blue - Bubblin'
194 U2 - Vertigo
193 Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal
192 Mando Diao - Dance With Somebody
191 Buffy Cast - Walk Through The Fire

I like all these :D

And you're not the only one who liked the Buffy song

Britney has the most single charting in the top 200, 7, and this one is her lowest. A great pop song from her sophomore. Loved the video at the time and the message it was sending. Miss the early '00s Britney.
Image
Another early '00s pop song at #199 is NSync's Pop (which I always thought was called Dirty Pop :-?). Never got all the hype for them but they did release a fair share of fun pop songsand they have another coming later in the countdown.
Image
From NSync to their most succesfull solo member. Justin has surprinsgly made quite a big solo career with a few great pop songs coming from it. My Love was the 2nd single from his 2nd album FutureSex/LoveSounds, which was a great pop effort. I was obssesed with this song even more than SexyBack ,but in longterm SB takes the lead and it's still coming in the countdown, aswell as two other Justin's singles.
Image
Never was a big fan of Kylie but she is one of pop's biggest females and her Fever album was an awesome effort. One of the two singles from Kylie in the countdown is this song which still sounds great 11 years after the release
Image
Moby's never been a favorite of mine, but this one is a great dance song and it's my favorite single coming from him (along with Lift Me Up which just missed the countdown.) The video was quite confusing though.

LDN and Bubblin' are two brilliant songs by two brilliant UK acts! Fergie is great, and Vertigo is one of my favourite U2 songs.

Kylie and Timberlake are both brilliant too - the latter has had better but needs to return to the music scene ASAP!
