I think the original version that Drake wrote as a ballad would have been better. His version sounds more polished and I love the little breakdown before the choruses. I like it, nonetheless.

I loved Drake's demo so I was excited to hear this. It definitely doesn't disappoint, I love it! 8-)

Really like this, although Tinie's verse is definitely the strongest part of the song for me.

Much better song to launch her UK career than How We Do (Party).

Love this, can't believe nobody's mentioned the genius use of Nneka's "Heartbeat" on this track, glorious!

I don't want to be rude or anything, but...

This is great! Also nice to see that Nneka sample being used in a decent way!

Not keen on this too much at the moment, I was hoping she'd come out with something like "Hot Right Now" but this is a weak "Do It Like A Dude" for me.

It's still quite a while before it's being released but it has been playlisted by Radio 1xtra and Capital FM already. #70 on the Commercial Radio Airplay chart, but not top 100 in the official airplay yet!

Rita hasn't dissapointed me yet. I'm hoping for great things for her 8-)
R.I.P. is really solid and catchy single, I hope the video will do it justice. It's being released next week, right? :)

:o , that's amazing! When is this actually released?

Fearne played this on her show last monday as part of her 'new music for the week' and she said she loved it.

It's released May 7th! :) I just find it really amazing that a new artist's song with no video has a fake version doing so well! Biggest competition that week will be Tulisa and Conor Maynard from the week before.

I hope the video is out soon!

Ooh, same day as Tulisa? Interesting.
Although I do think it's a bit too late, especially with a fake version doing that well already! They should release it earlier.

On Rita Ora: “One of the greatest gifts I ever received in my whole life—I wear it every day—is this ring right here. They tried to talk about this ring the other day and say I got married to somebody, which I didn’t. Rita actually gave me this ring. We’re dear friends. ‘R.I.P.’ is a song that I originally wrote for Rihanna. Rihanna actually didn’t take the song. I think it was for [Loud] and Rita expressed interest in it and anything I can do for Rita, I will do.”
I knew, it was for Rihanna.
