My sister just ran into my room and asked me if I could put Heart Skips A Beat on her iPod and I was like 'No! This song has to go No.1 sis, go and buy it on iTunes or even better Musicload (the song is more expensive there)' and she went and bought it!

Yayy! :D

I'm not Rihab95, but the album didn't chart in Germany as it was just released last Friday.

And it is not doing very well.

I guess he'll need another hit so people notice he's a great artist and not just another one hit wonder.

If he goes #1 on the singles chart will depend on physical sales, the difference in downloads is <2k.

well the album peaked in the top 40 on amazon which is a good indication of how aware people are of his album and how the reception of it is. It's still #46 there.

The album should debut in the top 50 or even top 40 on the German albums chart.

Guess his chances are getting smaller and smaller to hit number 1 with Heart Skips a Beat here in Germany.

Mike Candy's song overtook Michel Telo with a lead of almost 20% on Itunes. It will rise much higher i guess.

It has a 25% lead over Olly's song.

But it's discounted, as soon as the prize is put back up it's going to fall like a rock.

It isnt discounted. It was in the Kontor Album at 99 cent just like every other song in that album.

Heart Skips A Beat is back up to #2 on German iTunes, it has surpassed Ai Se Eu Te Pego.

It's now only charting behind a new song called 2012 that is sold for only 0.99€ and is charting very low on Amazon and Musicload though. :D

On last weeks chart Olly was very close behind Michel Teló. I guess that on the chart released today, Telós lead is bigger again. Next weeks chart will be interesting. I don't think 2012 will make it since it does great on itunes but not on the other shops.

On itunes Olly sells around 3% more then Teló at the moment but he didn't go to #1 last week although his lead on itunes was 20-30% for a few days in that chartweek. And since Teló is still #1 on musicload and amazon, i'd say that he will have another week on top of the chart.

It's not even for sure if 2012 (If The World Would End) will be allowed to chart already (because it doesn't have a physical version yet). If it's not Heart Skips A Beat would be No.1 for sure since Michel Teló's sales aren't strong enough anymore and Sean Paul's not strong enough yet.

If it is allowed to chart Heart Skips A Beat still has a very high chance since 2012 is discounted on iTunes and Musicload and it's charting very low on Amazon.

This is not for this Tuesday but the Tuesday after of course, this week I don't have an idea who will be No.1, but I'd say 50% Michel & 50% Olly.

And that when major promo is just about to come. The Echo Awards, where he performed on Thursday, were only watched by 3 Million people, but today a constestant will sing it on DSDS (= German Idol) in front of 12 Million viewers (8 Million for the live show and 4 for the reruns)!!

That show is known for making 20 year old songs re-entering the Top 10 and new ones like On The Floor go No.1 for a few months, guess what will happen if a #2 song that is on track to go #1 is performed there!!

Emmm... something like what you described happens very rarely though: When did a 20-year-old-song return to the top 10 after a performance on DSDS?
And the thing with On The Floor: You mixed it with Wetten Dass and actually it was just 1 week not a few months...

3 mio. ddoesn't seem to be low... Kraftklub reached the top 10 on ITunes after their performance at the Echo (and they are an album-band) and I remember Philipp Poisel reaching No. 3 after his song was performed on XFactor - a show with even less viewers.

Who is performing Heart Skips A Beat tonight? I'm watching Elton vs. Simon atm  !

Since when is DSDS watched by 8 million viewers?

This season, it went down to 5m~. All time low since the first season.

I doubt it will have a huge effect.

i think only a performance by the artist at DSDS can have an effect. (Like when Mariah performed TMB there which guaranteed her her first ever top 10 debut).
