If Christina doesn't watch it, the constant misuse of her voice is going to be the end of her career.

That's not to say that an attitude adjustment won't help her out though...because it will.

Pink and Alicia higher than Christina. Sweet!

I actually got her 'Stripped' album, and despite a few good songs, she exaggerates so much in the vocals that I could never listen to the whole album again, seriously.

Christina is absolutely amazing. Stripped is a Pop masterpiece and Bionic wasn't as bad as many make it out to be. She's also got some classics to her name so she'll go down as a music icon.

I don't think so

Anyway, Xtina is my 2nd all time favorite artist. She has the best voice among younger divas imo.
Back To Basic is one of the best albums of all time. I love how she's very versatile, she can do pop, rock, R&B, hip hop, jazz, etc.
The Voice Within is my all time favorite from her.
Not Myself Tonight is my fave uptempo from her.
I LOVE her bitchy attitude!
I do agree that sometimes she oversings and her vocal becomes stretched.
She deserves to be called as icon.

Ellie Goulding
I didn't vote for her myself - though I do like her version of "Your Song".

En Vogue
Shockingly I didn't vote for these girls either. They have great voices, but their music has just never really "grabbed" me quite enough to vote for them in this!

44. Christina Aguilera
Well there goes one of my slightly filler votes. Christina has an absolutely fantastic voice, and when she puts it to good use, on songs like "Beautiful" and "Hurt", it's amazing! When she turns into something totally different on songs such as "Dirrty", "Can't Hold Us Down" etc, I'm not so much of a fan. So, yes, this is for things like "I Turn To You", "What A Girl Wants", "The Voice Within", and all the other fantastic Christina songs.

Christina Aguilera was my #12. Many fantastic songs like "The Voice Within", "Hurt", "You Lost Me", "Beautiful", "Ain't No Other Man", "Lady Marmalade", "What A Girl Wants", "Genie In A Bottle", "Save Me From Myself", "Not Myself Tonight". She's really one of the best vocalists of our generation and her live performances are great except for the few erratic ones lately. IMO I think she deserves her top 10 placing as she's one of probably two artists that have continued the "Big Voice Diva" styled-music during the 2000s when Whitney, Mariah and Celine weren't that relevant anymore. Christina can dance, sing, and her mentoring on The Voice isn't that bad either. I'm anticipating Christina's comeback - and I'm expecting it to be huge seeing her exposure to the public due to being a coach on The Voice and her feature on "Moves Like Jagger".

Christina and I, we have a love-hate relationship.

I liked her debut album and found her cool but then people overhyped her and didn't like her Stripped album that much.

Back to Basics was a fantastic album - probably her best yet.

Bionic has some amazing songs and I think - just like Glitter - most people actually haven't listened to it before bashing it. It just became the trend to hate Bionic which isn't fair because it's as good as Fame or whatever album it had to compete against.

In the end I think I made amends with X-Tina. I look forward to her new album and hope she can return to commercial and critical success. She was my #13.

Christina was my #4! 8-)

I'm not her biggest fan but she's really an amazing vocalist. It's so fun watching her coaching on The Voice was well, and I love it when she always pick a contestant with a big voice.

I didn't even buy her last album, I borrowed Stripped from my uncle but I did buy Back to Basics by myself. A great R&B record with Pop, Blues, Soul, Jazz & Funk elements. It's like the "ballad" version of Beyonce's B'Day. Her latest performances were all crap, but all her performances from the BTB were really on point, especially the Hurt performance from the VMAs and the Ain't No Other Man one from MTV Movie Awards. Oh and that Grammy performance too.

Oh, and her adlibs during the last chorus in "Oh Mother" >>>>>>>>>>>>>

Christina is good, she was my #12.
Dirrty and Fighter are just pop perfection and Stripped was great, shame her material got worse with each album after that.

Wayne is so right, she tends to get it right on record but she is way OTT in performances at times. If she used it better she'd be unstoppable. I do love her and did vote her though, she has some real classics!

Ellie I gave lots of points to - brilliant.

I like a lot of things about Xtina (her voice, her songs etc.) but there are also many things I dislike about her too (her image, her attitude, her raunchiness). She wasnt in the top 10 of my countdown but I admire her as an artist.

Kid Sister, Jennifer Holiday, Kimberly Cole, Lauren Alaina, Ingrid Michaelson, TSD, Teedra Moses, Rox, Girlilicious, Luz Casal, I Blame Coco, Ledisi, Belinda, Selah Sue, BONNIE PINK, Zoe Badwi, Jasmine, Lizz Wright, Rebbie Jackson, Anna Calvi, Paradiso Girls, KARA, Ginette Reno, A Fine Frenzy, Joana, EMA

Not heard stuff by any of them I believe!

Girl Thing - Oh dear
Dev - Meh
Booty Luv - Meh
Jessica Garlick, Rosie Ribbons, Kym Marsh, Clea - All decent, especially Kym's solo stuff! What a lot of TV talent show stars at once!
Keisha White, Annie - Barely know either but like the little I do know.

Martika, The Shangri-Las - Neither acts I know well...
Sophie B. Hawkins - I love "Damn!" :D
Ms Dynamite - Aye, she was decent in her day.
Elaine Paige, Tammy Wynette - Both music legends, should be higher.
Vera Lynn - Possibly THE ultimate legendary female soloist of them all! Farrrrr too low (but then I again I didn't vote for her!)

One of my votes fell there...

28. Pipettes
Based solely on the debut album (I'm forgetting the "comeback" ever happened :P). It's a fantastic album, and from the moment I first saw them live, some time before their commercial breakthrough, I loved them, and their unique style!
