Personally, I think it's one of her best songs. The instrumental is killer and the song gets better and better with each listen for me!

Overall the snippets are mostly really good!! Very promising indeed

I listened to 20 seconds of each - a lot of guitars - very little synth this time. Kuba won't like it at all. It sounds OK from what i heard but i don't think i'll be as in love with it as the debut. The single seems to be an ideal transition from the first album to this.

I've just listened to the previews on iTunes and it sounds pretty great to me!

Apart from BW&B, Sunday Drive, Blue Eyes, Vanity, Anxiety and Gone Gone Gone sound the most promising.

Can't wait to hear it in its entirely.

I supposed I should have realised this would be put back considering BW&B was put back a week and Radio 1 & 2 have amazingly ignored the song (and it's so good)

ITunes still have the album release date as 19 March, but Amazon and Play have put the release date back to 21 May (a week after Sunday Drive is supposed to be the 2nd single), guess we have Radio 1 & 2 to thank for this (more amazed Radio 2 won't playlist them) :-?

^Radio 2 took several weeks to playlist Springsteen so we can't blame them. They follow album releases.

I can't believe they delayed the release, March was already far away and now May is killing me. :lol:

I wish they just released it already. I mean, 90-second previews are available on iTunes, so almost half of the album can be heard already. If they felt it isn't 'finished' yet then I could understand their decision, but I don't think any massive hype would build up until May, on the contrary, they might risk getting even less attention.
The Ting Tings' new single hasn't charted at all either but they still released the new LP. It flopped of course but they can still try to achieve something with a new single release in the future.

^Ting Tings' album had an inordinate delay! The Hang It Up single came out TWICE in three months! :lol:

If this came out now, it would die a death. Ting Tings' single went top 200, Pip barely scraped the iTunes 1000. Sunday Drive is the next single and could do well. Try and forget your selfish wants and think of Pip saving her career. :wink:

^ LOL I must have been living under a rock then, I didn't know about any delay in their case, I remember being happy when I saw the release date is in February as that's when I celebrate my birthday as well. :lol:

I'd love to believe you, but I still think that the end of May (almost June) is too far away, I'd prefer a mid-April or end of April release. I'm afraid they will wait until the first week of May with the next single and even longer with the video. That would be like starting from zero again, which isn't a bad thing if the single is a smash but if it does nothing either, then the album could die a bigger death as I don't think they will be able to hold back its leak until that late.

You are right IMO!! I think a video like My Delerium might be the way forward for the next single, after all the title suggests a nice drive in the country somewhere!! And that was one of the best music videos in recent years

My Delerium is Pip's only top 40 UK single so far (#33) and this was around Christmas when sales are usually higher, also it spent quite a while in the top 75, the video must of helped a bit here (and that's it such a good song)

Sunday Drive is the track I like the most from the snippets, so really looking forward to hearing the whole track at some point, I certainly can see Radio 2 playing this a lot

Strangely ITunes still have the release date as 19 March 2012

Me. And I have to admit it's very nice pop record. There is an audible develompment versus her first solo album. Bunch of cool melodies, especially ''Sunday Drive'' and title track. Not album of the year, but....yeah, it's catchy enough for me.

After first listen I'm not that impressed unfortunetly couse i love her debut album. I thinks she uses now more live instruments over the keybords. No another "Magic" on the album. I hope it will grow on me.
BTW I'm not surprised by the choice of the first single anymore. There is no strong single material on Anxiety. All songs are on the same level, no shitty song a no highlight.

I don't think anyone who would seriously consider buying a Ladyhawke album would be satisfied with only decent quality audio files, thus I don't see the harm of announcing the news. Those who are pleased with the quality of leaked files wouldn't buy the record anyway.
The material is great, by the way, it sounds good in one piece. So many potential singles!

I have to say that I absolutely love the 2 singles now, Black White & Blue is my favorite of the two (both the song and video) also heard the album track 'Gone Gone Gone', it's good as well
