I loved their original campaign track in 2008 - My Drive Thru by Santigold, N.E.R.D. & Julian Casablancas! So I'm interested to hear this.The latest Converse collaboration has been unveiled with our own kiwi-adopted songstress included in the mix.
Kimbra, Foster The People’s mastermind, Mark Foster and DJ A-Trak have been announced for the seventh Three Artists, One Song series for the track Warrior, available for free download on April 5 via Journeys' retail website. The release will coincide with a new collection of Chuck Taylor footwear.
In a statement, Foster said the trio’s offering opened his eyes to the power of collaboration.
"I had such a good time diving into the creative process working with two incredible artists to create a sound that is uniquely our own.
“This project has given me a newfound appreciation for the power of collaboration which is something that Converse really understands."
Joy Howard, Vice President of North America Brand Marketing for Converse said: “"Mark Foster, Kimbra, and A-Trak are making some of the most exciting music out there today and we're thrilled that our partnership with Journeys could be the catalyst for bringing them together."
Converse has previously teamed together such acts like Matt and Kim, Gorillaz, Andre 300 and Soulja Boy.

I personally think it sounds more Alternative than Dance, just judging on a case-by-case basis.
