I really feel this album should have been a 2-disc album, both sides are too different haha, I love the pop side more personally but still enjoy the hiphop too

Yeh we have known that for a while since we got the tracklist... They should have included it and Excluded Stupid Hoe IMO.

Cant believe it leaked. When is it released physically?

we get a tracklist with 22 tracks and an ITunes pre-order, I think one more track would not have hurted haha :lol:

Am I the only one here disappointed? The pop tracks are brilliant albeit all sounding rather similar, but the rap material is just poor lyrically, it's all talking about the same subject matter and she's not progressed at all from her last album - her mixtapes were so much better. The first half all seems like a bit of a joke to me apart from Champion and even then the features outshine her.

Maybe I am not dissapointed because I expected worse and I was dissapointed with the first tracks I heard (Stupid Hoe, RIM etc.) :lol:

I'm loving this album 8-)

Urban tracks are FYAH while pop(especially red one tracks) sound quite the same but some of them are great! Will give my review later

daaamn this album is so damn good

i just love nicki! the first hip hop artist (well she's kinda pop^^) that i really adore!
Whip It, Automatic, Pound The Alarm, Roman Holiday, Gun Shot, Beautiful Sinner and Champion are my faves so far!

she's sooo progressing!

Anyway

I Need to get more in the album. The dance tracks are nice to party. But when you listen to them after each other I get irritated. They sound way too similar. But there are some really good tracks on it (Roman Holiday, champion (Young Jeezy ruins it though), starships, Pound the alarm, marilyn monroe).

Nahh, they f*cked up on the tracklisting, just segregating audiences really and there's nothing exceptional from her rap side and some decent pop material, she's best not trying to be Urban, I think even her Urban audience would prefer her crazy, just unleashing a monster flow as opposed to some of this stuff...

I think she noticed that 'Super Bass' was by far the biggest hit from the last album and she took the whole pop sound to an extreme on this record.

Although when you listen to it, 'Super Bass' isn't even a pop record. It's pretty R&B so it had a lot of personality. A lot of the pop tracks don't have her personality on them but they're hot so I don't really care :lol:

'Roman In Moscow' is hotter than quite a few of the rap tracks!

I like pop Nicki at times...but this is just overkill. It's like 5 fist pumping songs in a row that sound identical. The only song that seems to have substance is Champion. Maybe it will grow on me some more (or maybe I should change the tracklist around). I like some of the stuff when she does pop but I didn't want this much Katy Perry/old Gaga/red one generic pop.

I think alot of her urban fans are going to be dissapointed with this. She can make it up to me by doing a mixtape though

I've made this playlist up, and it gives the album some variation, and flows ok. The dance tracks are SO out of place, its difficult to place them lol, but i tried my best to split them up, cos i got annoyed listening to 6 fist pumpers in a row.... even though I ended up adding Turn Me On in lol.
