The Impossible :  This, IMO, is crap. 1.5/10

Last Night A DJ Saved My Life : One of the average tracks on "Glitter". I wouldn't really classify this as a filler though. 3.5/10

Babydoll : Pales in comparison to the other "Butterfly" tracks. I'm shocked to see you place this higher than "Breakdown". 5.5/10

Subtle Invitation : One of the standouts from Charmbracelet. Such a gospel sounding track and I love this type of songs by Mariah. 6.5/10

[b Didn't Mean To Turn You On [/b] : Decent.. One of the better tracks from "Glitter", though not my favourite. 5.5/10

"The Impossible" = yeah...one of the most forgettable tracks on an overall underwhelming album. this one belongs this low.

"Last Night A DJ Saved My Life" = not bad, not great. I've never heard the original, but it's probably safe to say I'd prefer Mariah's rendition. this does have an official video too, one of Mariah's rarest official clips.

"Babydoll" = another silky smooth R&B moment on Butterfly. it's no "Breakdown" or "The Roof", but it's my favorite non-single on the album (though I'm not entirely sure if "Whenever You Call" counts as a single or not).

"Subtle Invitation" = it's a bit different for Mariah, a bit jazzier, but not one of my favorite Charmbracelet moments. this one belongs this low too.

"Didn't Mean To Turn You On" = now this one is WAY too low, it would definitely make my Mariah Top 50. such a fun song and a fantastic 80's-throwback! definitely one of the highlights of Glitter.

The Impossible. Haven't heard Memoirs really, I cannot get past the first few tracks.. don;t remember much

Last Night A DJ Saved My Life.I hate this! Probably the worst on Glitter IMO! ugh.. I cannot at you rating it higher than Loverboy AND All My Life AND If We.. #bye

#118.

Babydoll. I love the vibe but overall not as strong as others in Butterfly.

#117.

Subtle Invitation. One of the best from Charmbraceltet... one of the few songs on it that I love

#116.

Didn't Mean To Turn You On. I LOVe this, such a tune, the 80's vibe >>> ugh so low... Akini we are about to fight (again)!!

*Puts on boxing gloves*

BeeFan wrote::D okay, few days off and this is already starting to blow off.

Some really nice tracks up there, some which I thought would chart higher, Breakdown being the most shockingly low track so far. Gotta remind myself of some others because I didn't really listen to her "old" stuff for a while.

Anyway, 135 palces, that's quite a lot Mariah
It seems that everyone thinks that I've ranked "Breakdown" too low. I hope that in the future I can hear what it is you guys hear. :)

I can guarantee that that will not be the case.

I remember when I first saw the title, "Didn't Mean To Turn You On", I thought that I'd like it quite a bit. As it turned out, the song was exactly the opposite of what I expected. Maybe my hopes were too high. :-?

"Subtle Invitation" is a decent track.
"Babydoll" is a bit slow, but then it gets much better. I really like it.

Clown- It's not that enjoyable but I did hear it was also about Eminem LOL

Close My Eyes- not one of the stronger moments of Butterfly

Long Ago - I enjoy this song :) Have not spun Daydream enough though

You Had Your Chance - Forgettable, hence I don;t remember it, even though I heard Charmbracelet to day

I Don't Wanna Cry - Beautiful single cover! Is it legit though, I see no legit MC font  anyway, nice track

No huge disagreements in this batch but some should be higher

Clown : One of the filler tracks from Charmbracelet. I did like it on first listen, though. 3/10

Close My Eyes : :( :( :( It's one of my favourite songs EVER. and to see it not make the top 100 is a travesty. It's certainly the most personal track by Mariah ever and it didn't catch my attention until about June last year when I fell in love with this track. Since then, this track has found its way into my heart and now is in my top 5 (possibly top 3) ever Mariah songs. This is extremely underrated too. 10/10

Long Ago : Decent, like most other "Daydream" tracks. No standout part of the song though; and that's what makes this forgettable. 3.5/10

You Had Your Chance : One of the worst tracks on "Charmbracelet" and her discography in general. I'd ranked it lower than you did. 1/10

I Don't Wanna Cry : I have a love-hate relationship with this song. Sometimes, I can really play this song whole day without getting bored and sometimes I just skip this song when spinning her debut album. It's a great track though and shocked to see it not make the top 100 (given the love it gets from fans). 7.5/10

You're right. "Babydoll" does get better as it goes on and I quite like the end, but the first half is so boring that I had no choice but to give it such a low rating.

I'm sorry to see our opinions differ so greatly on "Close My Eyes"! :o Over time, I hope it can grow on me as it did on you. Glad to see that otherwise we're still on the same track.

Cannot get into Memoirs for some reason.

Underneath the Stars is great, though not the best from Daydream (I think that's the album it's in)

Everything Fades Away - I spun Music Box a lot these past days and this song is not a stand out IMO.. so far

Candy Bling - One of the best tracks on Memoirs! Her vocal is a bit weird though.

Everything Fades Away - Surprised it was just a bonus track, one of the highlights on Music Box

Inseparable - Another great tracks on Memoirs, i love the chorus.

Underneath The Stars - A cool ballad from Daydream, so peaceful

More Than Just A Friend - One of my least favorite from Memoirs, meh :-?

Mariah's got a number of absolutely phenomenal songs, but I just don't think those two songs are quite on the same level as some others.

Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel is one of those Mimi albums that gets a lot of undeserved hate. There are a few tracks that I quite like from that record.

"Clown" is boring.
I used to really like "Close My Eyes". I find it boring now.
I like "I Don't Wanna Cry".

"Underneath The Stars" >
And I don't care what anyone says, I <3 "More Than Just Friends".
"Imma love you until the end, the end, the end, the end, the end...."

There was a time where everyone loved "Ribbon".
Most of the love has died down. I still don't like it.
The "WE GET IT ON LIKE GORILLAS, RIBBON WITH A BOW ON IT, RIBBON WITH A BOW ON IT" always put me off. But if you can get past that, it's a nice song.

"Vanishing" >
"To The Floor" <
"Sent From Up Above" is spectacular. I love it.
"Angels Cry" is so boring.

Vanishing - great song standout on her debut the only track that was all mariah
Close My Eyes - One of my fav Mariah songs. One of the first Mariah songs I ever heard
I Don't Wanna Cry - great ballad though loved by fans not really loved by Mariah
Underneath the Stars - great slow jam one of the best on Daydream IMO
These are a bit low but everything else is about right.
Really enjoying your count down

I don't think "To The Floor" is that bad, but it's definitely one of the weakest on The Emancipation of Mimi.

#100.

Want You.

Image

Though far from incredible just like most of the tracks from Glitter, the chorus is really nice. Mariah's vocals on this song are good and the addition of Eric Benet makes for a welcome duet.

#99.

Reflections (Care Enough).

Image

Yet another Glitter track bites the dust. I really like the verses and Mariah's voice on the chorus is really beautiful. Overall, it's a good track.

#98.

Outside.

Image

Mariah's vocals on this track are brilliant but it's so slow. She does manage to bring it home in the end so it closes out on a high note.

#97.

Open Arms.

Image

This Journey cover easily ranks amongst Mariah's most forgettable singles. However, the chorus is really nice - the highlight of the track. I do feel that Mariah sounds a bit restrained on this one. I just want her to let go and belt to her heart's content.

#96.

Melt Away.

Image

The chorus on this song is so beautiful, but the verses really drag down the whole quality of the song for me. It's still a decent track, though.
