I really like what I've heard of the album. I feel like he's updated his sound to fit in with today, without losing his identity. I heard an interview where he said he'd approached different pop producers to come up with their ideas of dancehall music. I think it works!
I'm a bit disappointed the album is only #35 in the midweeks though. I thought it would be doing better. "Imperial Blaze" made #38 and that had only one single, "So Fine", released from it in the UK (which peaked at #25). This has two top 20 hits on it, including one of his biggest hits to date and it's around the same position. I thought it might go top 20 but I guess the advertising for it hasn't been that great?
