Certainly Mona!

I agree with every bit you said!

Well as far as I'm concerned, they can stick their heads in the sand all they want...

Racism exists. And by ignoring it or denying it or even trying to wish it away, they're actually encouraging it.

Anyways...I feel for the Zimmerman family because I know that what they're going through right now is not enjoyable...

But what they're trying to do right now is inexcusable.

Everything I've heard from Zimmerman, his father and the Sanford police department are lies. All lies.

If Trayvon had followed Zimmerman back to his car, why did the scene of Trayvon's death take place in someone's backyard...far away from any street...

If Trayvon had smashed George's head onto the sidewalk multiple times, why wasn't George's blood found on the concrete?

Why was he able to walk away from the crime scene with that severe of a head injury? At best, he should've barely been able to stand on his own.

Now, I understand why I would get these bad spankings whenever my parents had caught me lying.

Because it's getting to the point where I'm going to have an extremely hard time believing a single word that any of them say...even if it is the truth.

But still...I have this feeling in my gut that Zimmerman is going to get off. Or worse...he's not even going to be tried.

And on top of all of this, this is a presidential election year: a very important president election year.

America better have a "My body is ready" moment if worse comes to worse...this summer will be very intense if justice is not "served."

Yes. Obama and the GOP clown candidates will have to face the obvious Elephant in the Room.

1.Racism
2. Rampant poverty, not the middle class, but the real exploited poor
3. Continuous corporate corruption where the population is being poisoned in every one of their faculties: what they hear, see, breath, eat, etc.

Jesus would tear into these leaders so hard, they'd try to kill him and call him a socialist and extremist! They need to be careful calling themselves Christians, when the "real" Jesus wouldn't align himself with their beliefs.

I have a feeling nothing is gonna happen in this case and that the murderer will get away without even going to trial.

It's beyond shocking. :o

I hate to say it but people might need to riot to just get this guy arrested.

Holdupholdupholdupholduphold. Up.

Now, I'm not advocating rioting. All I said is that it might need to happen to get the ball rolling.

Taking it to the streets seems like it's a necessity. A little civil disobedience never hurt nobody.

Rioting? Ummm...you can't say the same thing.

And Danbarj, you should be one of the last people to run around like you crazy, throwing trashcans through store windows. You have a child. Remember?

Yes, I know I'm really grasping for straws here because you grown and you gonna do what you want but...I just don't want you get to get hurt or end up in jail.

Because I'm a college student: I can't bail you out. And your son needs his father in one piece.

Calm you!

We need justice for Travon, but stable businesses and jobs too. So, you can't do a L.A. Riots 2012 just yet. Nope! Let's not!

Do something else radical? Pull your money and support from businesses that don't invest in your community. File class action and civil lawsuits. Do something radical, that's not physical first.

America is a mess.

The race issue is going to prolong this so much longer than it has to be. Giving them time to conjure up much more lies.

WOW!

It's sad that this happened last year, and no resolve yet. The race issue prolongs an obvious case yet again...

I don't understand.

Even WITH nepotism, there is no reason why George Zimmerman is not in custody right now.

There is more than enough probable cause at this point to arrest him, book him and set a trial date.

I really don't understand.

I agree. The media is eating this up and prolonging it because it's making them tons of money. it doesn't help that people are going back and forth about the color of his skin, instead of getting to the nitty gritty of what happened to who.

I still can't believe he's not in custody, or that they even released him after he killed someone.

The color of who's skin? George Zimmerman? His skin color, race, ethnicity, etc. doesn't really matter.

But a large part of the reason Trayvon Martin is dead because he was a black.

I still can't believe he's not in custody, or that they even released him after he killed someone.
Well...I can believe the police releasing him after he or anyone else killed someone. The authorities can only hold you for so long: if they have no concrete proof or reason to keep you, then they have to let you go.

Either that or be charged with obstruction of justice and false imprisonment.

But even so...at this point they have more than enough probable cause to go round him up.

I've seen and heard of people get arrested for less...

This is truly a shame.

There is not. I don't know why they are on TV.

They were trying to act like the "biased liberal media" is trying to find the best pictures of Trayvon and the worst of Zimmerman to demonize him when he was right to exercise his rights as an American for self-defense

Well to be honest...

They did have up George's mugshot from 2005 and pictures of Trayvon when he was 13 up there...

Not that it really matters or anything but the pictures that were being circulated around weren't really representative of what George and Trayvon were.

That is true, using a "threatening" looking mugshot that doesn't look like Zimmerman today wasn't the best thing, but when Fox tries to act like he was defending himself when nobody besides Zimmerman and his family/lawyers believes that shows again they are biased.

At this point, I could care less about what Faux News has to say.

I used to really watch Fox back when I was trying to get a bipartisan view of the news and it just really wasn't working. At all.

Like I don't like MSNBC either because they are WAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY too liberal but I can respect their opinion whenever I come across I.

But whatever.

The fact is that:

A) there is a dead teenager who is dead for seemingly no other reason for the fact that he's black
B) the police department has tried time and time again to either cover it up or brush it under the rug
C) everyone knows who did it
D) the culprit and his family member(s) have been caught lying.

Yet no one has been arrested.

That's what Fox News should be focusin on.

Sure, there are other layers to it: race, clothing, guns, walking around at 7:00 at night, gated communities...

...but come on.

More hate crimes - 5 Blacks Shot, 2 Dead

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-201_162-574 ... a-rampage/

One of the shooters is said to have shot those people as a retaliatory action because of his dad's death two years ago. He did use the N-word on Facebook, so this may get elevated to a hate crime.

At least they were arrested.

Can't say the same thing over here...

Speaking of which, did you hear that special prosecutor in charge of Trayvon Martin's muder case decided to forgoe a grand jury ruling...?

What do you guys think?

I am happy that the special prosecutor is not going to use a grand jury. Now it's up to her to decide, solely, if she will file charges against the guy.

In the hands of a grand jury, it may have ended up very messy.

He's still in hiding in the meantime.

Of course, he's hiding.

He has to...I wish him the best though. I really do. I know his family is really hurting right now.

Hopefully, he pleads guilty so he can get some kind of bargain...

But I want the authorities to investigate the Sanford police department.

Excluding the fact that they've committed obstruction of justice by attempting to cover this up, I also have a strong feeling that they were tampering with evidence and witness accounts.

Okay... I'm confused... you want him to plead guilty FOR a bargain, but then want the police department investigated for legal wrongdoings????

He should plead guilty (which he probably won't, given he and his family's responses to the issue) and SHOULD get life in prison, if not death! If he wants to live by the sword, he should die by it. I am not here for people doing what they want with CLEAR hatred in their heart (his racist name-calling showed that) living on the streets, free again to do it again!

And, yes, the PD should be investigated too! As well as the State's Attorney. But Zimmerman should get the biggest hurt. I pray for his family as it's not their fault, but he deserves the BOOK!
