I was being vague for no reason, lol

But anywhoo, I was thinking about move to a more rural area in Europe. Somewhere small with a low population that I can enjoy nature for a while. I haven't been anywhere outside of Paris in Europe, so I do not know what may be considered 'Country'.

I'm just so over America, and Urban living.

Haha... it's different when you grew up in a place. Drugs, crime, and all that. I want to experience a peaceful life in small village with people that have brains.

Well I'm from a small rural town in Ireland with a population of about 5,000 people and while I love it, so many people my age hate how small it is and how everyone knows everyone else's business. Saying that in a small community you have the support of your neighbours and when people need help, you know you can rely on the people around you.

The west of Ireland is a lovely place to go and lead a very peaceful rural life if that's what you are looking for.

Beautiful, i want to live some where that has beautiful rolling hills like this: http://watermarked.cutcaster.com/cutcas ... -hills.jpg

I just think city living has become very unhealthy. I'm suffering from a low libido as of late.

Hey, choose one of our beautiful islands in Greece and come! In winter you 'll enjoy peace and countryside with villagers and in summer you'll have tourists for a more vivid life if you want to. Nice combination :D

Oh darling I have never been to Greece but I saw images of Greek city in Edward Maya's Stereo Love video and I almost died. It is stunning!

Plus I love Greek and Turkish food, however the women are a tad wild. Hehe.

Haha, you are a mess! I was thinking like a year or two of living. To sort of ground myself. Europeans, mostly, are so much more sensible than the people I find here! I know I am dragging my own culture, but it's true.

I know two Serbians, and both of them are beautiful and very passionate about life and what they do. It's so admirable. I wish I was that way, but please. You better cut my check.

I don't think that's always the case. Some people just grow tired of what they we're born into and want something different.

I just don't think living in the city your entire life is healthy.

For years I lived in the country side of Portugal. Sometimes, besides my family, all I would see walking by our farm was cows and sheeps   Believe me, I needed the city

You are so lucky! I dream of being able to see sheep and farm animals and rolling hills, and green!

Not saying that I want to stay Far from New York City (my home) and Miami, where I live now, for too long. But it would just be so nice to get away from this for a year or so.

The air has to be amazing.

I was raised almost like a 21st century hippie. I didn't know what grocery shopping was until I moved to the City. Everything was planted on our back yard, including fruit trees. We had all technology inside of our house, our house was like a rich city house, but in the middle of the woods. My parents wanted us to grow with nature: natural food, mountains, near the river (me and my brother used go down the hill near the river and ride our bike in the huge farm, or we would climb to the top of the mountain and just lay in the grass taking a nap  I'm not ashamed of it and I'm glad my parents gave me the chance to have that type of life. But since I was 9 I wanted to live in NYC. But I love that I could experience both. Believe me once you get attacked by a rooster or a turkey like I was many times, you may change your mind

STAWP IT You're describing my dream. I really wished I was raised like that!

It was the other way around, I grew up in Queens, NYC, and Brooklyn. So it was crime, drugs, gangs and concrete. Then We moved to Miami. Which was the same just more drugs and less concrete.

OMG! You are so lucky! Now I want to be attacked by a rooster

Should you move to Europe? Hell no.

You basically say that city environments are nothing but trouble, neo. And then you say that the people and the culture within these cities are driving you insane...

If that's how you feel then why won't you just leave the friggin' city

#CommonSense

And plus...I don't want you to leave. I like you too much...

Then again...

In all fairness, you could just be sick and tired of America in general and you could just be expressing your desire to get out and see the world.

I understand how that is.

But of all places to globe-trot and settle in...

...why Europe?! And rural Europe at that...
I can feel this light that's inside of me, growing fast into a bolt of lightning. I know one spark will shock the world...

Have you seen Rural America? Country folk, racism, stereotyping, and other old world ideals that are generally disgusting.

I am seeking a type of all natural and holistic way of living that I just can't find in America. Without it being forced, anyway. A lot like Mikerocha described.

Yes...I've seen rural America...I'm from Texas.

And to be honest, I'm in no rush to go back and see it again...

I'd rather live alone and isolated in rural America than live in a small community in rural America...

But still...you never answered the question.

Why Europe?

I just think it's so funny when Americans are refering vaguely to Europe as if it's a single entity whether it's Paris or the muslim villages of Greece and Bulgaria they're talking about.

Yeah, go to the countryside (american or anywhere else). I moved because of job and it's not bad at all for a break
