For me, as far as lead singles go, this is probably equal to 'Out of the Blue', but less great than 'In This Life'.
It's strangely catchy, not in a sing-a-long kind of way, but it gets stuck in your head very easily.

Yes. In This Life will always be a Delta classic. But I couldn't be more happy with the comeback. Love it!! Yeah it's definitely not as immediately enveloping as In This Life but it's still very catchy. I think this will do well for her. Can't wait for the album.

Agreed with Loveguru that the verses are strong (especially the first one), but now that I've heard the full song, the chorus isn't probably the best...
Tbh, the song just sounds a bit too samey-samey for me. Not as good as In This Life, but definitely better than the cheesy Out of the Blue.

I like it. Great comeback single.Very catchy fun upbeat song. It got me singing along. Definitely a grower. Cant wait to see the cheesy video.

What's the promo schedule like around the release date. We know she's doing the Logies but is anything else confirmed? This won't go to #1 down under. I'm pretty sure of that... maybe this will be like "Mr Know It All", a #1 hit that flops hard on the year end chart...

I personally love it and its very catchy. It will be interesting how it does in Australia. Her label are really trying to push her. I mean its got a week to gain airplay/demand, she's got instore appearances and a physical, got a performance on the Logies, The Voice premiers that week as well plus she will still have some of her core fanbase buying as well.
However Carly Rae Jepsen has a massive lead in Australia so it equally wouldn't surprise me if it debuted at #2 or something.
