Jennifer Lopez - Dance Again: The Hits

I hope that this has a CD+DVD package which includes all, I repeat, all her official music videos. That's the only way I'll be buying this.

JLO confirmed in a recent interview this weekend that she is working on her 8th album released under DefJam this year. She has finished work on the "Greatest Hits" album already and that one is supposed to come out by the end of "American Idol" in May. The "Greatest Hits" era is for sure one with only one single at all for the summer and that will bring her back. The DefJam release will probably come out in November before christmas - i guess.

That sounds like a good plan! Hopefully they won't mess anything this time.

It's not sure what's next - new full album or "Greatest Hits" album. It was said that a "Greatest Hits" is in the making for 2012, but that could come out in November, this could be a new record for the summer cause DefJam are well-known for these fast releases each year - see Rihanna. :wink:

It also depends on the artist tbh, Rihanna is someone who likes to work and have not much rest, JLO is in a whole other phase of her career and life, she is a mother and all. JLO wants to put out an GH and an new album soon but Def Jam itself are not that known for releasing albums that fast, since JLO and Rihanna have enough (old) label mates that released albums between a bigger time period

All albums up to TIMT had a DVD release!!! Videos after that and albums have not been on par. I'm happy with what we got like 9 years ago :lol:

When does "American Idol" end this year? This will 100% come out around that time, she will use the finale show to perform "Dance again" for sure and hopefully do a little trip to the UK and Europe again in June. :lol:

Ok live performance on Idol confirmed - May 10! She will perform "Dance again" there during the Top 3 show. So whatever it is, a "Greatest Hits" record or a new album, it will come out in late May or early June latest cause finale on Idol is on May 23. :lol:

After 6 English albums surely the GH should come first? Otherwise she's going to have too many hits for her GH if she releases the new album first.

IT doesn't make sense to release a full studio album with that lead single... it's a great OK song, but not strong enough to sell a studio album

If she had a record deal back in the early 1990s, we would have had at least included video appearances by David Cruz and Ojani Noa too!
