If she is gonna save this era then she needs to put out a fresh upbeat single and promote it! Promo week better be good! RCA must have some plans for that week :evil:

I seriously don't get why this era seems to be flopping so far.

When Anything (To Find You) flopped, they released a HOT ballad, and when that flopped, they pushed the album back so it didn't get lost in with the big fall releases.

They then arranged a duet with Brandy (which got both singers a lot of press attention), made a good video and sent them on a radio tour. Even, and I hate to say it, Whitney's death should have had some sort of uplifting impact on Mo's fortunes but this era just seems to be flopping any which way they go with it.

I just hope people remember all 3 minor hits that this album has already produced and take a chance on buying it. It's weird that she went from getting two massive radio hits last era to struggling to get played this era.

DGG is an early favorite of mine, it sounds like a certain Mr.Wrong and Motivation, I wonder who produced the track :roll:

Take a Chance is good after a few listens and Without You has a potential to cross over! God her single choices should have been like this:

1.) Daddy's Good Girl February 2012
2.) It All Belongs to me April or May 2012 (to coincide with Brandy's release)
3.) In 3D July 2012 *see Deluxe tracklisting*
4.) Without You October 2012

I believe In 3D is on the Deluxe but it should have been on the album after I heard the snippet! She needs to release that it sounds fire!!!!!

#23 (27) It All Belongs To Me, Monica & Brandy (8 weeks)

The Urban AC increases are getting it back to climbing. Hopefully it will keep going, so this can get Monica a solid hit, but the Urban support also needs to stay pretty stable for that to happen on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart i think :wink:

On another note it outpeaks Anything (To Find You) this week, and its peak is now one position away from the peak of Until It's Gone.

To make comparisons Still Standing was #30 at about the same time on the Thursday, before the last album was released. This makes me nervous about the album sales, eventhough this album has a deluxe edition! :-?

I was hoping after SS she could push 200K first week but I don't think that will happen now but I have confidence with the right promo during release week, despite a slow single release, I think she can pull 125-150K first week and she can save this era still she has two strong singles on the standard edition and a strong single on the deluxe! Gold is still possible in my mind!

i don't know, i guess she will struggle to open above 100k in my opinion! none of released singles went even Top 20 on r'n'b chart and promo was not clearly focused. They made so many mistake through pre-release of the album :-?

"Until It's Gone" should have been proper first and real single with plenty of promo and release close to album release, following "All Belongs To Me".

I agree Until It's Gone would have been a smarter 1st single for her coming off Everything To Me & Love All Over Me from the Still Standing era, but at the same time i don't get why the very good Anything (To Find You) didn't do better...

She really should have kept re-establishing herself during Still Standing era by releasing 3rd and 4th singles! I think Mirror & If You Were My Man should definitely have been singles, and there were other songs with nice potential aswell! She could easily have had another big urban hit from that album coming off 2 HUGE urban smashes, and she could possibly have made herself one of the biggest in R&B with a few more singles that could have pushed the album to Platinum!

Now she's struggling to get a proper Urban hit, and that's so annoying, because the singles have all been good!

I totally agree! She gave up to soon on still standing! Mirror and one in a lifetime could've smashed urban radio! But as far as this era goes if she wants to go gold she and her team needs to milk this album for what they can! If she wants an instant radio hit then daddy's good girl should be next other than that man who has everything should be the next single or take a chance! During the fall she really needs to release without you it is clearly a standout track her vocals their give me life it has Grammy all over it Plus it has crossover potential to me! In 3D should also see a release!
