It's nice. The first two Blue Nile albums are among my fave ever albums. But i miss the epic-but-subtle (!) pop anthems they used to do. He seems to have settled into Easy Listening music now.

Yes I agree that beautiful soundscape of The Blue Nile is absent on this track but I am still interested to see what the album has to offer, I love his voice! :D

Oh! Didn't know about this! :D

I'm ending my day with From A Late Night Train starring at the stars, reflecting over the day that has been.

Searching for a general discussion thread for Blue Nile and found this topic! EXCITED!
Gonna listen to those links tomorrow!

Mid Air has been my song of the day! It allows my senses to breath and reflect.. I've played it back and forth along with this track:

Yoko Ono - I'm Going Away Smiling

They feel somehow connected!

A frustrating album. Hard to pick anything out as it all sounds the same - like a stack of unfinished demos - most of which are too short. In stark contrast to The Blue Nile's 80's classics where 7 songs would last 45 minutes here 14 songs doesn't even equal that!
