I was in London for one year but I made all the wrong choices accent-wise for people I hanged out with. You should learn the British Phonetics, that helped me a lot, it's what I majored in at university. It really isn't that different to any other English, except for the accents and our tendencies to (a) use a lot of slang and (b) shorten words (e.g. we commonly refer to McDonalds as Maccas and every other word that can be shortened will be shortened).jpguy wrote:I'm sorry but what is "Australian"?
