It'll be some time before this survivor goes underway as it is #5 in queue. But figure it would be a good time to start gathering up peoples information so I'll have a number of songs for the survivor when it starts.

Wherever you are from, there was likely a #1 single on the chart the week you came into this world. Wikipedia is a good source to find the dates of a song from your birthdate/year, there are other sites as well. Make this for your home country. I was born on Dec 3, 1979 in the US, so my #1 is "Babe" by Styx, had I been born in the UK it would've been "Walking On The Moon" by The Police (sad since I love it more than Styx) or if I had been born in Australia it would've been "Video Killed The Radio Star" by The Buggles, but since I was born in the US, my song is Styx. Same with you, whatever was #1 in your home country when you were born is the song going into the queue for down the road when the survivor began.

Rules:
PM me anytime before the survivor begins with the song that was #1 in your home country the week you were born, to protect those who don't want their ages given out, I won't list the username by the song :D

Great idea. I hope mine is great, though. :-? Will search for it immediately.

Edit: Nah, I can't participate. It is my nemesis which I won't support. Bah, I just listened again. Awful.

Can I take the #1 before this abomination? It is much better.
No, it's not me.

I don't think we had an international chart back in 1992 :(

John, until about 10 years ago, only a handful of countries in the world had official singles charts. Mine certainly did not have one in 1977, unless there was some official ranking of Communist anthems that I am not aware of.

If you want to consider my country of residence instead, then it's Deniece Williams - Free. I would strongly prefer to use the US one, Hotel Cali :D

11 songs in (two double-A sides have been included, I'm separating the tracks in both instances), one certain track from 1987 is already represented by two UKMix members
