I don't have enough time or money to be washing towels every day, I have two at uni and I use each one probably 4 times. I've just had a shower so I don't see the problem!

Well, besides loving the smell of clean clothes and not having much uniform, my reason for washing my towels regularly is I have a rubbish radiator in my bathroom that doesn't dry them properly. SEE:

I usually use them once, sometimes twice.
I don't see the problem with using them even more, though. At the end of showering, we only have clean water on our body, right?

I usually use my body towels for 2-3 weeks before washing them. Note that I take a shower every day -sometimes even twice per day (in summer mostly)
When it comes to face towels, I use them maximum for one week.
JimJim wrote:I think someone made a good point on the show New Girl IIRC, "you only ever use them when you are at your cleanest" (paraphrasing)
Yeah, exactly! A friend of mine asked me once: Why do we need to wash them at all, since we are always clean when we use them? :o

I also change my bed sheets every 2-3 weeks, up to a month sometimes.

And honestly, all my friends/partners always compliment me for how clean I am

Me too. I try and do it at least once a month, but I have been lazy before.

RE: Towels - I use mine 2-3 times before washing it, but if it somehow gets stained or whatever, then just the once.

Since I still live at home, I always wait until there's a big load of them to do the washing. Saves on the water/electricity (don't have a dryer either, I agree that it's a total waste of electricity).

I tend to have two in rotation a week, and wash them both on the weekend. Though I'm not really anal about this.

However, I am very anal about other people using my towels.

I use it a couple of times before washing it, both body and face towels.

Ketchup: fridge, but it doesn't really matter.
Shower: stand away

And here's what happens with towels. When I get out of the shower I wrap a big towel around the top half of my body and a small towel around the lower half of my body. The big towel will last me 1-2 weeks and the smaller ones go in the wash after one use.

What the hell I cannot imagine using a towel ONCE before washing it!! Who has the time or effort to be doing laundry that much. I probably do it about once a week. Omg doing it every day is such a waste of water!!

I'm pretty slack with bedding but I guess it should be about once a week or fortnight.

Let's be honest. Washing sucks, regardless of how often you do it. :-?

I'll iron if I think something is particularly creased, but I find the whole thing tedious and half the time my clothes are still kinda creased in the end. *totally wants a garment steamer*

QUESTION #4
*THANKS TO serbia95riri*

OH THE HUMANITY! Can you imagine the stress, nay, the emotional trauma I suffer when I walk into a toilet and see the roll the wrong way. We must solve this ongoing debate that has torn brothers and sisters apart, led to unnecessary 'outdoor trips' and moments like this

DOES A TOILET PAPER ROLL GO OVER OR UNDER?

VOTE.
