I live in Guatemala, and it was hard for me to find that album!! Finally a friend of mine bought it for me and I became the happiest person!! It's also one of my fav albums! It's so ethereal and the atmosphere.. it just catches me into this bubble of sounds and phylosophy.. totally love the album!

I absolutely adore to no end how you still buy physical albums.

I still buy physical albums. There is something a bit more special about them. And plus I'm really paranoid because once my computer crashed and I lost all my downloaded stuff :(

And when it comes to my alltime faves such as Alanis, i'm more than willing to buy not just one edition but multiple ones. 8-)

Album ranking time!

1. Supposed Former Infactuation Junkie (this will always remain her best piece of work IMO. Every trakc is fantastic)

2. So-Called Chaos (at 10 tracks long, it's pretty perfect)

3. Jagged Little Pill (no explanation needed!)

4. Under Rug Swept (I think it has some of her best ever songs on here, but alot of filler compared to So-Called Chaos)

5. Flavors of Entanglement (Similar to Under Rug Swept, some INCREDIBLE tracks but a few I don't overly care for)

I want to make a ranking but it's very difficult for an artist like Alanis! Her albums (especially from Jagged Little Pill onwards) are really really good! :) :)

"That I Would Be Good" would have been a surefire hit second single, it could have brought Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie above 5X Platinum or even more in the USA! :) :)

In the midst of the rise of the non-generic songs in the charts, do you think that Alanis can score another hit? She could do something in the veins of the songs during her JLP era, or even something like Hands Clean :D
If good things come to those who wait, does that mean procrastination is a virtue?

It depends, because so far, the only ones who benefit from the "non-generic" songs that are becoming huge hits are new or relatively new artists. Artists like Jewel, Norah Jones, Sarah McLachlan among others are not even scoring hits anymore. I really hope a "Hands Clean" kind of song and success for her!! :D :D

Something in the lines of "Thank U" would be so much better IMO... it could be pretty big on the charts! 8-) 8-)

she was 11-12 on YCDTOTV. She was one of the youngest in the cast (Christine McGlade was 22 when she left the same season Alanis joined) yet she could've passed for 15-16.

New album out August 28th called Havoc and Bright Lights, can't wait for this. :D
The album’s first single, “Guardian,” will be available on May 15 at iTunes, shipping to radio on May 11 for impact May 21.
Some like to Clutch at Straws.
