Week 31/14 (4/8/2012)

Three debuts and one come-back brings the total number of entries this week to four. Starting from the bottom, at 19th spot arrives Aura Dione featuring Rock Mafia with 'Friends'.
At 18th position back into top 20 is 'Rumour Has It' by Adele. The song re-enters chart after a three-week absence.
At 12th spot appears 'Don't Cry for Me Argentina' by Madonna (Miami Mix version). The single is taken from 'Evita' - Madonna's third soundtrack album.
And the highest entry this week, a top 5 debut, has Keri Hilson. Her 2009 summer smash 'Knock You Down' featuring Kanye West and Ne-Yo enters chart at 5th spot.

What else in top 5?
At 4th spot remains 'We Are Young' by Fun featuring Janelle Monáe. It's the song's fourth week on chart and third in top 5.
Out of the top spot falls 'Dressin Up' by Katy Perry. The song dips 1-3 in its third week on chart.
Up to 2 is 'Girl Gone Wild' by Madonna. The song jumps 16-2 (the biggest upward moment this week) and becomes the greatest point gainer.
And with the new number one this week a new milestone has been set, as Sia becomes the first and only artist in the chart history to have a two number one hits.

Week 32/15 (4/15/2012)

Two new entries this week are both the old songs by No Doubt. At 10th spot debuts, released in 1996, 'Don't Speak' and, at 3rd spot, a 2003 cover of Talk Talk's song 'It's My Life'.

Top 5 opens this week Madonna with 'Girl Gone Wild'. The song dips 2-5 in its third week on chart.
At 4th spot stays Fun. for the third time in a row. 'We Are Young' featuring Janelle Monáe scores fourth week in top 5 and fifth week on chart.

At 3rd spot, as previously said, enters chart 'It's My Life' by No Doubt. The song is the airplay gainer of the week.
Down to 2nd spot is previous week's number one hit - 'Wild Ones' by Flo Rida featuring Sia. It's the song's seventh week on chart.
And, unexpectedly, the number one this week becomes a 2009 recording, namely...

Week 33/16 (4/22/2012)

Two news songs appear on this week's chart: at 17th spot 'Endless Summer' by Oceana, the official UEFA Euro 2012 anthem, and at 14th spot 'Next to Me', a song by Scottish singer/songwriter Emeli Sandé. David Guetta's 'Titanium' featuring Sia remains as the longest runner for sixth week in a row (and 7th overall). The song re-enters top 10 in its 20th week on chart. 'Titanium' is currently the only one track to enter the top 10 with the Longest Runner award.

Top 5 this week opens 'Wild Ones' by Flo Rida featuring Sia. The song falls 2-5 in its eighth week on chart.
At 4th spot stays for 4th week in a row Fun. featuring Janelle Monáe with 'We Are Young. The song becomes the second longest non-mover in the chart history, only behind Ewa Farna's 'Nie Przegap', which spent six consecutive weeks atop the chart in January and February this year.
Down to 3rd spot is previous week's number one - 'Knock You Down' by Keri Hilson featuring Kanye West and Ne-Yo. It's the song's third week on chart and also third in top 5.
Up to 2 is 'Don't Speak', a 1996 song by No Doubt, which entered chart last week. And, the first time in chart history, the top 2 is occupied by the same artist/group, as It's My Life' jumps 3-1 and becomes 10th number-one hit this year.

Great chart once again! :D
Thanks! Yea, Knock You Down really reminds me of some great things. I've probably had the best summer holidays ever in 2009.
And No Doubt - as you said, their tracks are simply classic. ;)

Wow! Thanks, Tiger! It means so much to me! I'm really glad you like it. ;)

Spartan wrote:Great to see Fun Top 5, and Rumour Has It is a brilliant song.
Yeah, agree! Rumour Has It is such an amazing song and it looks like it's going to be next Adele WW mega smash hit!

GoodBoyGoneBad wrote:Amazing debut for It's My Life.
Thanks! Well, it was really close to the top spot last week, but I started adding points for it on Wednesday, so it had really not much time. Anyway, it entered chart at 3 and it's the number one this week.
Some day I'll explain the formula of my chart.

Yes, No Doubt's track are simply amazing. And Don't Speak is really timeless, I hear it in radios almost every other day. ;)

New and retro in one chart ;)
Thanks! Well, I'm charting every song that I'm currently listening to, no matter if it's a single or not or if it was released this year or 50 years ago, and that's the reason why there appear from time to time some really old songs.
I'm happy you like it ;)

Ouch :( I hope that this week's chart will be better for you :)

abi wrote:Loved "Knock You Down"!
I do still! Thanks ;)
