I live in Guatemala, and Toni is totally unknown... like, nobody NOBODY knows about... HER... only me... and few gay friends, like 2 or 3 hahahaha.. BUT the funny thing is that when THE HEAT was released, she was a bit popular on MTV with HE WASN'T MAN ENOUGH and I was like 13 / 14 and I bought her album at a local store .... there were like 3 imported copies, and I still isten to that album often... it's really good and one of my fav RnB albums and I'm proud I bought it. Afterwards, I lost interest on her, I guess her work isn't as impressive as before IMO

Only 3 copies in the store? :o :o

I actually lost interest in her sometime in 2002, after "Hit the Freeway". She just faded to oblivion. I didn't even care about Libra when it was released, and I was a fan since "Un-Break My Heart". I suddenly felt the urge to check her music out again as soon as she released "Yesterday" in 2009, I was shocked to see that she sounded the same and still looked gorgeous considering it's been more than a decade since I listened to her and she can still bring it. Now I love all her albums, and I stan for her whole family as well.

Yes, there's only one shop that carries albums by international acts in here... and there were like 3 copies in my city I guess... Guatemala city, nobody even buys albums no more... specially for RnB acts... nobody...
so I guess I'm one of those avid fans! :P

I have kinda good news

And your upcoming album, titled Heartstrings & Synagogue Vibes.

I don't know where that came from! Someone came up with that. What did you say it was?

Heartstrings & Synagogue Vibes. It's all over the Internet. It's described as an album that will fuse dance and pop music with Jewish and Arabic music.

That's kind of brilliant. I did not come up with that. My grandmother is Jewish. My father is, but I'm not. That's kind of clever, though. But no, it is not the album title. I don't have an album title.

I love this perfomance of Give U My Heart.

It's one of her earliest performances and she looks so good (Babyface looks nice too).
